That's the thing, I've learnt never to expect anything from nigerians, especially nigerians I don't know in person.

Well, considering the fact that majority of nigerians are half wits, and nairaland comprises of the minds of some nigerians, I wouldn't say they're far from thinking that way.

Menn! How low people can sink just for an online pageant.

Why are some contestants saying a visit to the orphanage home is the only volunteer work they've ever have done?

Lol, and that's not even volunteering. Unless they helped out in some sort of way. Say maybe fix broken beds, or help the children out in making crafts. Anyone can visit an orphanage. But it's all good; a step in the right direction.

Joe, the big question is, why did Fynestboi pass it along as the right thing? Why did he keep playing blind to Lanicky's wrong answers while he keep making Demiladegold, Refiner and Optional1 look bad? He was deliberately influencing public opinion so it was up to you, I and other discerning persons to call him out and alert the viewing public of his ploy.

Come on, son of Mark, if only I can screenshot my whatsapp chat with my team, organizing the interview I would have, when she replied, I was like is this a cover letter or just a comment, that was why one of the team member asked her a question in line with what she answered. Go back and check.

OK you are expecting to say what?

I visit the orphanage home twice in a year.

I love little children, especially the less privileged.

I learnt that: When you make others happy, heavens will smile at you. smiley

Goodnight allsmiley

Good. But try to help out in anyway you can. Not just visiting or maybe taking things to them. I suppose that is what you do. Try to engage the children sometimes. Read them a story, or make crafts with them.

Well may be because he doesn't know any better. I believe he focused on the content of what was written, rather than the format of which it was written.

Bro, you really didn't expect a 100 level student to know how to write a cover letter do you?

If she had written it, I would have known someone helped her out, but since she proved she don't even know how to write it, I'd say she answered the question correctly.

You'd be amaze how many undergraduate can not pen a simple informal letter.

what's your IQ? smh

What nonsensé is this?
I do not require you adding smileys winking creepily at me to ur comments.

And I'm not the one you should be apologising to. I saw smellymouth making a point earlier about the same thing and you and ur team, fynestboi alongside swept the thing under the rug like it was nothing.
those are the people whose religion you dragged through the mud.

but I'm glad the guy didn't even make s fuss about it. You can go on with ur faux diplomacy...at least I've got my eyes opened and I'm beginning to see you in a totally different light now.

And she responded that she already answered and you replied that she passed as it was also part of the interview. Smh undecided

So, on that note, you're Team Lanicky, right? Not surprising, MODERATOR. smiley

No I am NOT TEAM LANICKY. trust me..

If I am team Lanicky I won't ask her for a cover letter and If at all I would, I would have given her the format of how a cover letter should look like..
