Any update about the maintenance fee charged from Firstbank? they have charged me last month and this month for maintenance fee #8,000. VAT on maintenance fee #200, SMS Alert #4. That i don't even use.

I was charged in March and when I asked why I was told they discovered most people are using their savings account as current account so will be charged COT . Anyway, after much calling and many mails I decided to abadon the accounts including the current I have with them.

There are many banks who are more than willing for me to run my account with them for no fee.... Not that it's totally free bc I was charged severally for transferring to other banks

All Banks have charges associated with them, First Bank charges me so much for every little thing, the charges are so much that it seems they charge me for checking my account balance. Sometimes I'm sceptical about confirming payments due to charges.

Sometimes I'm busy with things, the next thing I get is debit Alert from First Bank. How much did they usually charge you for transferring to other banks and is there any bank that offer transfer to other Banks for free?

No bank transfer for free but stanbic charge #73.50 instead of #100 by others .

Ok, have you contacted them? If yes and the issue hasn't been resolved, why not use that same method you used in resolving an issue with the Bank some months ago which was contacting CBN?

I haven't contacted them yet but mavin4uc had similar issue and contacted them so I wanted to know if refunded or not.

Na una dey dull ooo. D first day they tried it with me I mailed them asking for CBN directive on such cox my account manager was yabbing nonsense saying they deducted from him as well. When my wife saw the number of times I've mailed them cox of #105 she was like haba how much is #105. Lols
They refunded after a month & since then they never touched my account again. Last week she was complaining they deducted 1750 or so from her account again, I couldn't stop laughing. Continue mailing them cox its a cheap scam. Maintenance fee ko oiling fee ni
