I was able to take time off work to enter Uniben yesterday and I was able to clarify some issues at the admission office:

1. The MAPOLY guy can apply as Uniben accepts candidate from every accredited institutions (upper credit for OND though)

2. You can not use another school diploma for any professional course in Uniben.

3. Those that are asking whether they can use recent O'Level results for old NCE, ND or Bsc certificate must be ready to combine it with their previous O'Level result that is, the one they used to get the first admission to their former institution. This is not possible for Medicine aspirants ( no combination of O'Level in medicine) hence, automatic disqualification during physical clearance.


Meanwhile, those that are telling me to send past questions to their emails should please forgive me. I no longer posses them (reasons I can't explain here) but a woman at the admission office said that the link to download past questions will soon be available on their site. I had to buy the solved hard copy at the main gate.

Let me rest for now

For those that will like to submit their credentials at Benin office this information is for you so that they won't send you back the way they sent me back today.

Make sure you go with the following
1. Your slip (DE form printout)
2. Advance level certificate or statement of result.
3. O'Level results
4. State/Local government of Origin Certificate.
5. Birth Certificate/Statutory declaration of Age
6. NYSC discharge certificate (this can be waved for you especially if you are not applying with Bsc or HND)

I went with three out of six and I was told to get the rest, saying even if they collect what I brought, they may not send it to Abuja.

Let me reiterate once again that this thread was created for the following reasons...

1. To keep ourselves abreast of informations relating to forms' obtaining, registration and choice of course with O'Level requirements.

I remember some people could not submit their applications successfully till closing date on jamb website last year because of one jamb regularization policy (whatever that means) and I hope we will not be victims of circumstances this time around. #Bettersafethansorry. lol

2. Uniben prides it's DE admission on PUDE score and I believe it's never too late to getting and discussing some of their past questions to brighten our chances.

Personally I have some past questions (Science combination though) in soft copies (PDF) and I won't mind sharing with interested people, on request.


3. To practise some of these past questions here when the time is right.



I beseech us to try and contribute on this thread to keep it informative, active and lively.

Don't be afraid to say what is in your head/mind because out of every nonSENSE, there must be a sense!

Direct entry past questions (Hard copy) for any course is now available.. Order now for your well explained Direct entry past questions and have it delivered to you any where you are in Nigeria.

1. Go to jamb office and obtain a jamb form, cost is #5000 (it will close on July 1)
2. Register with a regularized jamb number or choose other diploma during registration (depending on the A'level certificate you have with you.
3. Print out your slip (confirmation page during registration) and submit it at jamb office together with other credentials. (check my previous post for details)
4. Wait for the screening test of the schools you chose during registration and apply to write the test (some schools don't conduct test for DE candidates though)
