what I am saying is, just like the law wants us to be righteous, grace too seeks for us to be righteous in heart n act, but d two operates differently. you need to ask urself this, if I need to do all d work, kick myself n all that to be righteous, why should Jesus die? there is a provision for that in the old covenant. in the new order, grace comes not automatically, but it comes when we agree we are a sinner, sinner not cause we do bad things, but cause our nature is sinful, then we believe in the finished work of Christ, then we accept there is no way we can please God on our own, we can never meet his standard, he is too perfect, that's why we need to pray through Jesus every time.
when we believe this, we do not automatically become perfect, we work towards perfection, but even in our imperfect state, we are righteous before God, because we have Jesus as our high priest standing for us.
when we become born again n taste his love, we become a new creation, our spirit is quickened n our conscience lightened. no one who goes through Christ will b comfortable in sin. if such a person is forced into doing wrong, their will be restlessness, lack of peace, "NOT BECAUSE GOD IS ANGRY at that person" but because the person just did something that is against his nature. like a lion barking like dog.

God! Heresies everywhere, seems many don't really understand the word "GRACE AND FINISHED WORK OF CHRIST" the latter enables the former. The latter ended the constant sacrificing of lamb for atonement practiced commonly by the Israelites in the days of old, and also gives HOPE for the GENTILES.. The FINISHED WORK gives us access to God. Grace buys us time in the sight of God, it's this same grace that gives some people backing the heresies Prince is spending more time in the sight of God maybe they would REPENT one day.. Grace don't gives us license to sin after confessing to have been born again but "if error we sin" GRACE makes God to forgive us when we go to him with penitent/sober heart because of the finished work of christ 1 John 2:1 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: After that God expects us to be more careful and conscious if our daily living by living a righteous, holy and sanctified life, that where work comes in. We must work to compliment the finished work of christ, by obeying his commandments 1 John 2:3 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. 2:4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 2:5 But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him. Fleeing from appearance of evil/temptation (work), study the scriptures, praying, eschew evil and sin(work).. In fact,all letters written by Paul were basically about believers work and work... So, don't think that all Antichrists will come inform of don't accept christ, don't preach, Jesus is not a son of God but a servant or better still a slave. Some will make the word of God a snare unto you, they knew that you know the word,but they will interpret it in such a way that it looks simple, and LAZY Christians believe that's just the way it should be..

Christ said it that "many will come in my name", claiming that He Jesus is the "Christ" but will deceive many. We're seeing them these days more than ever because we're at the brink of the end. Joseph Prince, Joel Osteen, Kenneth Copland, TD Jakes, Creflo Dollar, Chris Oyakhilome, David Oyedepo are but few of confirmed ones by their fruit. I don't mind mentioning names because i don't care and the bible isn't against this. Christ entered Jerusalem humbly serving but these men are getting served, many if them are not mere humans but we don't know, people don't know.
They were born normal, grew normal for a purpose just as the Antichrist himself will emerge soon not from no where but he grew once being an infant too.

Some Christians believe that they have to work at becoming more righteous. And they kick themselves when they do wrong. They don’t realize that by doing these things, they are not seeking God’s righteousness, but are trying to establish their own righteousness by their law-keeping and right conduct.
Righteousness is not about right conduct. It is a gift from God to us through Jesus. And since it is a gift, we cannot earn it by our law-keeping and right conduct. We can only receive it!

How do we receive this gift? We receive it through the cross. God made Jesus “who knew no sin to be sin for us that we might become the righteousness of God in Him”. So today, we are the righteousness of God in Christ. We are as righteous as Jesus is!

But some of us think that in the body of Christ, there are different classes of righteousness, like the seating classes in an airplane. They think that some of us have economy-class righteousness, others have business-class righteousness and a select few have first-class righteousness.

That is nonsense! When God gave us Jesus, He became our righteousness. So we have His righteousness. This means that we are 100 per cent righteous in God’s eyes! We cannot but have first-class righteousness!

You might say, “Pastor Prince, I don’t understand. How can I be righteous when I have done wrong?” Think about this: Jesus, who knew no sin, became sin for us. Jesus knew no sin, did no sin and in Him was no sin. But at the cross, He received our sin and became sin for us.

Likewise, we, who were sinners, knew no righteousness, did no righteousness and in us was no righteousness. But at the cross, we received His righteousness and became the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.

At the cross, the divine exchange took place. Jesus took our place so that we might take His place. He did not deserve to be made sin, but He was made sin in our place. We did not deserve to be made righteous, but we were made righteous because we received His righteousness. What good news! What amazing grace!

u can only understand Joseph Prince's teachings if u v deeply studied the epistles of Paul, esp d book of Romans. even Paul was attacked as many are attacking the gospel of grace today. u can't be a Christian who has come under grace and still be an active sinner,it is not possible, grace to live a righteous life flows from Jesus when we rest on His finished works on the cross, when we have the assurance that Christ became a sin for us and through him, not our deed, we are righteous before God. through grace, we are able to fulfill the law even without knowing the law. but grace can be activated with faith...faith in the finished works of Christ.
