wITH THESE sATURDAY MORNING ATTACKS WE ARE LIKELY DOWN TO BELOW ONE MILLION BARRELS PER DAY.

No wonder those Western companies have been leaving, they probably had advanced intelligence that the Nigerian economy was going to grind to a halt.

Napoleon said an Army marches on its belly, once there is no money, the army also disintegrates, please pray for NIGERIA!!!

Oil output is still up to 1.4million barrels/day. Remember that most of the oil export come from Offshore line and some of these destroyed pipelines are gas pipelines. The media will help NNPC officials to lie and steal enough money now. Nigeria still produce up to 1.4million barrels/day. Note also, that most of these explosions took place in Delta and Bayelsa.

It is a shame that nigerian youth got no common sense! So bombing national assets is a thing of joy to you. When your kinsmen were at the helm of affairs what did they have to show for it? Billions of dollars went into private pockets. Let us see what would soon become of niger delta

citizenisb:
Nigeria's crude oil and condensate production has fallen almost 50% from the start of the year to around 1.1 million b/d, an official from state oil firm Nigerian National Petroleum Corp. said Friday, after reports of a fresh attack on an oil and gas pipeline in the Niger Delta late Thursday.

"The waves of attack on virtually [most] oil pipelines and production facilities in the western division of the Niger Delta have crippled operations there," the NNPC lofficial told Platts.

"We estimate total production losses to be around 1 million b/d, so we are currently down to 1.1 million b/d," he added.

Your wish!but it will never happen

subterfuge:
BUHARI WILL SUFFER DEARLY IF HE DOES NOT ARREST GOODLUCK JONATHAN AND HIS COHORTS.
THEY ARE CLOSELY MONITORING THE BUHARI GOVERNMENT AND BOMBING THE NIGER DELTA PIPE LINES.
BUHARI MUST BE A MAN AND ARREST THIS LOOTER.

Whether Jonathan is behind NDA or not, its clear the CIA have a stake in this chaos. If naija won't break in 2015 they'll do it in 2016.

The states in the Niger delta will experience the largest percentage revenue drop. The 13% derivation is already halved with the drop. Remember federal budget this year is only 20% funded from oil sales. I pity more those states who depends 95% on oil receipts

If the claim is true that most of the money never gets to the people anyway, then they won't feel the loss.
If it does get to them, then the govt's been lying.
Which is it?

It is not activism at all; it is politics of greed. Why is the Niger Delta struggle restricted to only Ijaw. Why haven't the Urhobo, Itsekiri, Ibibio, Kwale, etc picked up arms? Why are the Ijaw blowing up facilities in non-Ijaw communities? What did the poor Niger Delta communities gain from MEND agitation? What are the communities going to gain from NDA? What have the communities gained from 13%, NDDC, Ministry of Niger Delta, Amnesty and oil theft? The fight is by those who feel that they lost income from Jinathan's defeat. The struggle will only enrich few people.

This is akin to War as these boys are destroying the economic life blood of this country - CRUDE OIL!!!
What do you expect after all the conniving and conspiring and backstabbing against GEJ?

To add salt to the injury buhari said he won't be fair to all regions of this country through his infamous %97 and 5% statement and he is actually putting those words into practice.

BTW, its time buhari and his apc start exporting the newly found oil in Lagos state.

“I have to reluctantly give up because the so-called Nigerian economists come and talk things to me, and when I raise issues they talk over my head instead of inside my head. For us to lose over N300 (every year we’re losing the value of the currency by N100), what for?

“I find myself in a very difficult state because the economists cannot tell me why we should continue to devalue our naira.

“I’m still agonising over it, that the naira should be reduced to such a disgraceful level over the last 30 years. I need to be educated on this.

“But I’m not ruling this country alone. I’m under pressure and we’ll see how we can accommodate the economists.”

I read somewhere that Lagos is now oil producing. Why don't we source our crude from Lagos a day some from the North. Nigerians scamming themselves since 1800 and claiming the SE can go and stand alone. Una never chi chom chin

Well,I've not seen anyone come up with a valuable proposition towards solution and the militants are hell bent on destroying everything,I think the FG should hasten the process and let's destroy everything together hastily.
