Glo has been running their 1k for 1.5gb since last year, and no Network gave a damn, not until MTN did theirs that prompted everyone to reduce their prices immediately.

Etisalat's network is the fastest, I rather buy that than waste 8k on one 48gig I won't be able to use.

Has anyone noticed that Glo has started zapping data, although not like airtel double billing. Last month I subscribed to 1.5gb, but I only saw 1.35gb. This is unlike the previous month. I have also noticed that with my current subscription with them. Can someone confirm this?

Glo is good but the network is back.

While MTN is 20GB for 2k with speedy network. I prefer MTN lojokojo(any-days and anytime).

most of y'all saying glo network is slow probably might not have used the network b4 but just choose to jump on the ship of conclusion to say its slow. i am staying in mando, kaduna presently and glo os faster than airtel, mtn and even ur almighty eti. yea, faster than etisalat. using speed test, i clocked 3.7mps on a particular evening. before now, i have leaved in OAU and most students there use Glo to browse as its very fast. same in zaria and in ota, ogun state. before You criticize i am not a glo customer care rep just sharing mu view.

You are right, for months I didn't bother to try Glo because of what I was hearing on nairaland. A friend just forced me and since then I have been enjoying it. Its not good to just jump into conclusion, although Glo is not the fastest, but u need to understand how it works. it actually depends on or area.

The problem with Glo is that their network did not cover Nigerian their network is not strong atall.

the question should be the other way round cos in major cities I find out that their network is so bad. Using Abuja, Lagos,PH, Makurdi. NB majority of people from those areas complain of that

Sorry tho... Here in Ikorodu, my average speed when downloading HD series is about 700kb/s. Most times I use UCweb browser as it's faster than ADM, as UCweb has a speed mode that boosts download speed

Exactly, have been on the 24G plan for a long time; the slow speed is not their only problem but they also annoyingly keep disconnecting you constantly every other minute or so; making browsing quite frustrating and tiresome.
I am really fed up and have therefore decided to to go back to Etisalat once my current data runs out - unless they improve significantly.

i am not a Fan of Glo, don't even have a Sim, but I don't share your sentiment. Mtn didn't care when Glo reduced data cost, but the result was Mtn dropping on the internet provider chart, Mtn had to reduce data cost after NCC released it last report which shows Glo is controlling data market in Nigeria. glo had to reduce cost again cause lots of people ported to Mtn after the last review. even I may be porting soon too.
