i disagree. This is another excuse for Lebron.
In those situation, the best player takes over not the best shooter.
You're confused because most of the best players in a team are good shooters with the exception of Lebron.... Haha.
If Lebron isn't a good shooter, it's on him. Shows he didn't develop over the years.
I'll say it again, remove his physical ability which gives him advantage in driving to d rim, his offensive game would be ......
I have said I don't get clutchness If a player is said to be clutch it should be the whole game not 2min at the end.
so in situations where your best player isn't a lockdown shooter you will run a play for Shaq to come and knock down a shot ?
you all preach team basketball and ball sharing letting the player with the best
statistical chance is part of this, but if LeBron dumps the ball una go say he wilts in the big moments.
LeBron is one of the best passers to ever play the game their are more than one ways to hurt a team. like we've not seen not shooter flourish in this league.

I agree with you there. I play rec ball and I get pissed when the game is on the line and someone forces up a shot when he has 2,3 people on him because he is the best player?! like really. Great basketball IQ dictates 2, 3 people on his team are open, so passsssss the ball.

I know it gets crazy when one player is getting payed millions so he thinks he has to take the last shot, but it also means making the golden pass.

Bro,

The definition of "CLUTCH" is making this argument very difficult for you and LBJ's supporters.

According to https://www.google.com/webhp?sourceid=chrome-instant&ion=1&espv=2&ie=UTF-8#q=definition%20of%20clutch%20in%20basketball

done or accomplished in a critical situation: a clutch shot that won the basketball game. 17. dependable in crucial situations: a clutch player.

According to https://www.google.com/webhp?sourceid=chrome-instant&ion=1&espv=2&ie=UTF-8#q=definition%20of%20clutch

(in sport) denoting or occurring in a critical situation in which the outcome of a game or competition is at stake.

Now, argue from the definition of CLUTCH and not what you think CLUTCH means and convince me and others Queen James is truly clutch by definition of the word CLUTCH in sports.

Again, scoring 40 points during games not necessarily translate into being CLUTCH.

Excuses upon Excuses.. clutch or no clutch.. What happens when your team is talented but trash and both playoff finals rematch is a blowout?? You know GSW, you've played a 6 playoff game series, 3 regular seasons and 2finals again and the team is currently 2-9 since last year and James cannot still figure out how to get past Iguodala.. undecided Where is the greatness cos I know Nowitzki, Kobe and MJ will never get locked down by the same player twice in a playoff finals. So far, it's like the GSW are playing a scrimmage. The Cavs have not yet come up with any fight or solution and your best player has not found a way to improve himself individually I'm sure this already is enough for his teammates who always looks up to him to not step up and he cannot complain cos he also has not fixed himself and played subpar.. Stop making excuse for James.. 13years in the league and you don't have a reliable jumper and you call him king.. His driving to the rim is excellent but it is not working against GSW and he has no jumpshot. And you're saying that's why he's good at passing. Who no sabi pass for nba?? What do you do when the passes are not converted and your drives don't work.

Please answer these questions..
1. LeBron is a great offensive player and good at attacking the basket by driving. But is it working in this Series??
2. Can he rely on his shooting or jumpshot?.
3. Does he need to work on his jumpshot or its good enough??
4. Can he lead his team with the way he and the rest of them are playing??

Please give this man 3 bottles of Origin.. I just watched game 1&2 again just now and it's safe to say LeBron isn't a Shooter and has no junpshot or midrange at all.. He is 36% from midrange and 63% in the paint. He relies too much on that.. All the Greats have Post Up game, midrange and satisfactory shooting percentage.. His fans will never agree with what you and I have to say.. They all think we hating cheesy
their is holes in everybody's game that can be exploited.really go down the list and see.
Jordan the agreed upon greatest of all time had holes in his game. a book was written about and was put to great effect by the piston with much success (he never defeated them until they got old)

am not blind to LeBron fault it is forking obvious, you guys are acting like this is the first time defenders have sagged off him GSW is doing it,Toronto did it, Detroit did it, the spurs started it. he found a way to still hurt them that is the epitome of greatness right there that what is you're not acknowledging.

all the issues you guy have with him boils down to two things.
he is overhyped and a drama queen what does this have to Do with what you're seeing on the court?

You just said it yourself, he is overhyped and has been pampered but it's different from not putting in work and making the best use of that opportunity cos if every player has that opportunity they'll happily take it. But in this series, on court, I'm yet to see any greatness.. Kobe, MJ had to earn what they are known for.. But now, someone is already known as one of the Greatest to some but to me, Game 1 second quarter he had just 1pt, 2T0. 1pt for God's sake cos he was guarded by Iguodala. He isn't putting in enough work individually. That's what I think..

I hope today's game will be a real NBA FINALS.. I need to watch some real basketball.
Re: The NBA Begins by SIRcumalot: 8:39pm On Jun 08, 2016
Am not going to make excuse for LeBron concerning this season this loss is on him because this is his roster, but it has no bearing on his legacy none at all.
You have never seen players that guard Jordan well Gary Payton did.he still won (but Payton did it) if sonics made him guard Jordan earlier who knows.
For Kobe,well Raja bell did.
Dirk just shoot over everybody
Their some other players but those come to mind.
I already gave up on this series after I dozedoff In the middle of game two.
You guys think players can't get buckets without a consistent jumper? Watch how he will hang 40 on you guys in the next two games.

he earned his status in basketball before this series.
is overhypeness a basketball reason for hating a player if you can't set aside any bias you might carry toward said player to see what others see it is not his fault.
there are two more games two play watch closely.

why is it that when someone doesn't agree he's hating? I still don't understand.. I have as much love for LeBron as I do for Carmelo, Chris Paul Durant.. But cos I critic his game I'm hating?? I'm not hating.. All I'm saying is, he needs to work on his shooting cos his driving to the basket is not working in this Series.. I've said this like 10times..
And the question about the consistent jumper, he doesn't need to have shawn Livingston's jumper he just needs a better percentage of it IMO.. If you think he doesn't no problem.. But that driving won't win him this series.
I'm tired of emphasizing his need to working on his jumper.. I want my GSW to win so let him continue driving.
And most importantly, he ain't hanging sh1t tomorrow.. 22-34pt is the highest.. Except he decides to hang his head like he did in game 1 and 2 which I don't entirely blame him for. Cavs can't just handle GSW that's it.. you dozed off in the Game 2 that's a sign.

Golden State in 5.. We have to celebrate at Oracle and 4-0 is bad for Lebron's Legacy he doesn't deserve such huge amount of shame

that was the intended effect but incase if he drops 40 on any of those games I want full credit. cheesy

@smooshChn
hating is the wrong word that isn't my intent replace it with "judge harshly".

I never want to engage in this LeBron stuff it never changes anything.
his jumper isn't going to improve (I can't explain how it fell off) only a miracle can fix that, but he is smart and smart players find a way
I do think barring some spectacular collapse the warriors don win and this is LeBron roster so he should be rightly blamed.
I just don't know the players you will recruit to beat the warriors.
