Before this girl kills me... Let me help revive her thread with a few puzzles for the night..

1. What is as big as you are and yet does not weigh anything?

2. Two cannibals were chatting as they had their dinner. One complained that he really quite disliked his new mother-in-law. What was the advice given to him by his companion?

3. Paul's height is six feet, he's an assistant at a butcher's shop, and wears size 9 shoes. What does he weigh?

4. What ends everything always?

5. The person who makes it has no need for it. The person who purchases it does not use it. The person who does use it does not know he or she is. What is it?

6. What is greater than God,
more evil than the devil,
the poor have it,
the rich need it,
and if you eat it, you'll die?

7. Who makes it, has no need of it.
Who buys it, has no use for it.
Who uses it can neither see nor feel it.
What is it?

8. Which creature walks on four legs in the morning, two legs in the afternoon, and three legs in the evening?

9. Which word in the dictionary is spelled incorrectly?

10. A basket contains 5 apples. Do you know how to divide them among 5 kids so that each one has an apple and one apple stays in the basket?

5: Place three piles of matches on a
table, one with 11 matches, the
second with 7, and the third with 6.
You are to move matches so that
each pile holds 8 matches. You may
add to any pile only as many
matches as it already contains. All
the matches must come from one
other pile. For example, if a pile holds
6 matches, you may add 6 to it, no
more or less.

You have three moves.

Jack is looking at Anne, but Anne is looking at George.
Jack is married, but George is not. Is a married person
looking at an unmarried person?

A) Yes

B) No

C) Cannot be determined

Answer: A, Yes.

Reason: Jack is married and is looking at Anne. There two possibilities; either Anne is married or not. If she is married. Then Anne (married) who is looking at George (unmarried) would mean that a married person is looking an unmarried person.

If Anne is unmarried then Jack a married man is looking at an unmarried woman. In both cases a married person is looking at an unmarried person.

B

cause we were only told Jack is married not Annie.

Meanwhile, it can be said that a married man is looking at Annie as we were told

But on a second thought I'd choose

A

cause if Jack is married and he's looking at Annie there a high probability he's also looking in the way of George

New one guyz

There is a table on which 20 coins are placed. You also
know that there are 10 coins with heads up, and 10 coins
with tails up. You are blind folded and there is no way to
determine which side is up by rubbing, etc.
Your task is to create two groups of coins, each having
the same number of heads and tails. You may only move
or flip coins. How can you accomplish this while being
blindfolded?

Cc: 3rdlegxxx, naturalwaves, amicable24, EOOJ
since u know d coins were already arranged in two groups i.e 10 heads and 10 tails then jst pick any group and turn all the 10 coins upside down repeat the same thing for the 10 coins and walla u are good to go

If unmarried, then a married person (Jack) is looking at an unmarried person (Anne)

A.

Jack is married, George is not. If Anne is single, then Jack (married) is looking at an unmarried person - Anne. If Anne is married, then Anne (married) is looking at an unmarried George.
