Don't call North African a Black man abeg.

Zidane and Benzema are Arab not black.
Dunno, but they don't look like Arabs to me.
I think the Moroccans looks more like Arabs than the Algerians, especially their hair.
I saw them against Germans at the worldcup and they hardly look like arab.

The best ever strikers are blacks fact!- pele, delima, Eusebiuo, Henry, Drogba, etoo, weah, etc etc.
Midfielders- Ronaldinho, makalele, viera, seedof, gilberto, rivaldo, zidane, Okocha, etc etc
Left and right back- Roberto Carlos, evra, cafu, alves, Ashley cole, etc etc, name the respective whites that bears these few guys I've named in these technical positions!

this is the kind of problem am pointing too if we go by skin tone instead of geography.

The vision and awareness iniesta has is due to the kind of education he had, if messi didn't go to narcs at the tender age of 13 he wouldn't be what we know him to be today. There are many iniestas out there he may be better than them but doesn't change the fact that there aren't players like him everywhere you don't need look far, look at the Spanish team and players for instance, there are many like players, he may be better than them but Okocha is one of a kind the juggling you say is used to him because of where he grew up, showboating is cheered and loved by Africans all over the world even in Brazil.

sorry to say this, but from your post you're much interested in ball juggling, but I'm telling you there is more to futball than that, and that's d problem of d average black man, meaning less and senseless dribbles entices dem, what's d essense of dribbling a player if not to attack....If you want to watch just skills and ball juggling, checkout juga bonito on YouTube...showboating is useless in my opinion tho...

Iniesta was lucky to come through Barca academy. If not, I doubt he would have been signed by top clubs while plying his trade for a small team.
We all saw his level of performance before Aragones/Pep came to fore with several other top players.

Is Ronadinho black or white? What about Nani? Categorization of players is even a problem.

grin

Nani is actually an African from Cape Verde. Ronaldinho is black but might have some white blood in his ancestral line like most black Brazilians .

To me these guys are just dumbing down the debate. Brazilians are mixed with all sorts, white, black, ameri-indian, etc to the point where they cannot be considered black.

I remember when Neymar was asked if he had experienced racism, and he responded "No, cos I'm not black"

Okocha has the vision to go along with his skills though.
His long passes and through balls were something of beauty.

The problem with Okocha is that he was too loyal to a fault.
He wouldn't leave Bolton despite the top clubs coming for him. He could have played for the Turkey national team but he was loyal to Nigeria. But it doesn't mean Okocha wasn't as good as Iniesta.
I still recall the moment Mikel Obi tried to muster all his skills as a visionary midfielder at the confederation cup (thanks to Keshi who gave him an attacking free role), he was head and shoulder above the spanish midfield. Care to tell me why this was so?
Because even with his lesser technique, he has abundant talent in the area of strength and vision although he was constantly under utilised at Chelsea..

Both of them are black!
Trying to feel superior by dissociating yourself away from black doesn't make you white.

Thiery Henry, Samuel Eto, Drogba are some of the finest strikes we have had. Striking requires great technique.

Also, if Roger Miller were white he would have been rated far higher.

He did though.
He was one of the best midfielder at the world cup. He was even among the player of the tournament. The only thing is that he didn't get the chance to consistently play at the top level.
And no, Iniesta never dominated the world cup final. Xavi and Sneidjer were better than him. He was good and scored a goal but not as good as the former two.

Hmmm these could go back all the way tho... to the Tower of Babel grin grin

All men alive are descendants of Noah lol. Grey & Dark all were genetic manufacture of migrations & same language after the Tower tongue
There are still more mid-brown complexion the world over than either of the extreme Grey or Dark.

How can anyone say Delima, Cafu, Ronaldinho is no Blackman? Can ode meringue call himself a white man? Naymer may have an inferiority complex of being called a black man does not mean he isn't black, look at the pictures of the guys I listed when they were young and you'll see how much they've bleached their skin. There is no race like mixed. Obama is a great example. We've seen how many times alves has been racially abused even on the field of play for barca.

5 of the 11 players that lined up against Russia were black.

3 of them were defenders. One was a Winger

3 of the current German team are black. Two are defenders, one is a Winger

Half the Portuguese team is black. The black players are either defenders, defensive midfielders or wingers...

Czech Republic has a black player...he is a defender.

I could go on and on.

The current Dutch team is 50% black. They are mostly defenders, defensive midfielders and wingers.

France team has many black players...mostly defensive midfielders and defenders again

Look at the black players for Belgium

There's a reason this stereotype is repeated everywhere you look.

I was talking about leagues not national teams. Europeans would always promote their strikers to the top at early age. There was a time Fashanu was considered good enough to be on the bench for England but they dropped him.

Some of the best strikers have been blacks, Henry, Eto and Drogba.

I can see now why you have such a bad reputation on this thread.

So bald Zidane looks black to you not because of his face, nose, lips, or skin colour....but because of his hair? grin

Drogba must be white then.

I should have just waited for GBR to show up. At least I would have had an intelligent rebuttal.

Lol!
Despite the baldness, you can see his hair in other area of his head.
Drogba hair doesn't look white either. If Benzema had grown his hair, it would have been as Drogba's own. You need to see my Mum's hair and she is black.
You haven't answered the question though. Does the Algeria team that played against the German look Arabian?

I am not contributing to this debate but I saw some points that caught my interest

Some people keep mentioning Okocha as a top footballer, minus say we be Africans, I dont see how he is any different from Quaresma

Secondly Obama is used as an example of a black man, Hmm Hope you dont forget he is 50% white?

3. There are white skinned and black skinned Arabs

Against 10 men Arsenal and with players like Ronadinho, Eto'o, Deco, Xavi et al?
The few seasons Iniesta didn't have many talent to play with, he was viewed as those fanny players with lovely techniques but with no substance.

Nobody is arguing that.

I never said that Black people don't have technique.

My point was simple....Even in countries where there is a reasonably close distribution of Blacks and Whites, Black players tend play specific roles on the pitch. Defenders, wingers, Enforcers and Big Strikers.

That's why I listed all those countries where they have several black players, and all are more or less the same thing.

That's why I asked where the Black Pirlo, Ozil, Xavi or Inietsa is. Where is the black Carrick? or the Black Fabregas? Black Silva? Black Cazorla? Black KDB? You cannot see these players cos they dont exist.

How about Goalkeepers? How many Black Goalkeepers are there regularly starting in the EPL?

Read this article and see what I'm saying
https://sports.vice.com/en_uk/article/do-football-managers-pigeonhole-black-players

An extract:
Looking at last weekend's Premier League starting line-ups (January 23/24), he seems to be right. Choosing one tempo-controller from each team left me with 17 white European players (see list and charts below), the ethnically Turkish Mesut Ozil, and just two black players: Alex Song and Yaya Toure (both of whom are in the starting line-up as much for their physicality and tackling as for their ability to control the game). As black players made up 35% of starters, you would expect that they would represent more than just 10% of its tempo-controlling players.

I beg to differ.
Quaresma doesn't have the vision nor the intelligence to control the midfield like Okocha did for us at the worldcup and for Bolton.
Obama is a black man too!

Which world cup did Okocha control midfield for us? And Bolton really? Its like saying Charlie Adam controlled midfield for Blackpool or someone controlled midfield for Swansea and Crystal Palace. I've seen Quaresma do stuff at a top club like Porto which Okocha was never able to do at any top club

How is Obama black and not white? he has equal percentage of black and white genes
