somebody said gionee phones don't last up six month without issues, how true is dat since u have used m2.

D phone is generally okay.
Battery is it's main issue(though that might be because i was using gionee m3 b4 this phone).
Aside that, i think all is well with d phone.
No lagging
No app force closing
Doesn't get very hot while playing games.
And yes, I've played fifa16 on this phone without a single lag. I don't like nova3 so i didn't download it to play. Though I've played mc5 and it's playing very smoothly.

D main diff with this phone n M5 is that M5 has a 6020mah ba3, while this phone comes with just 3150mah ba3.
M5 comes with infra red blaster (for remote control) while this phone doesn't have that.
M5 uses quad(4) cores whole this phone has octa( cores.

That is a biggest lie, I bought my Gionee M2 on August 2014 and we are now in July 2016, so my phone is nearly 2 years, and I'm still using it till today, as a matter of fact, my M2 is neat so if I tell you I bought it in a month to dis time, you won't be ague,
Gionee phones are durable, has good battery backup even if it is 1500mah, you'll enjoying it.

thanks. what about the rumours that M5 lag on some heavy games? somebody using the phone told me that I should go away from the phone. But to my surprise, all the videos I watched on YouTube didn't mention anything like that. they showed how smooth the phone is. I dnt know if that was just advert. I think I should go for s plus since I dnt care much with battery.

I'm using Gionee M5 and I can boldly tell you dat you shouldn't go for Gionee M5 if you are a gammer, M5 lagging a bit while playing some high end games, not too lag though, but lagging is lagging,
Its very smooth in operating and battery backup is incomparable to any other devices,
So if you aren't a gammer and you are a fan of stronger battery, Gionee M5 is ur phone, but if u are a gammer and light weight phone fan, Gionee S plus is ur phone
Note dat S plus also has good battery backup despite d fact of 3150mah, but u can't compare it to M5 of 6020mah

You don't need to root your phone to use GLO BIS. All you have to do is change the IMEI of either SIM 1 or SIM 2 using MTK-engineering APP and BB IMEI generator APP to generate a valid BlackBerry IMEI.

For me,the fone is cool. The fact that I could move my pics and video right from my gallery into anoda folder without goin thru my file manager trips me a lot,lol! Its light and also d screen size is ok tho I've nevver been a fan of fone that u can't hold in ur hands well. Battery also last maybe bcoos I dnt game like someone complained here. Dsnt hang and all. Camera quality is cool too. Only tin I dnt like is d ear piece,nnever been a fan of such an ear piece. Dsnt fit into my ear and sometimes painful sef wen adjusting lol!
Will explre more features but for now I'm glad I got the fone,amount was worth it tho left a small hole in my pocket,lol

Thank God someone else finally said something abt that their ear piece cos mine doesn't even fit into my ear. I thought it was a problem with very own ear piece. Now i know it's a general issue.

@callydon @homesteady,lol! That's the only thing for now. What image did dey have in mind when constructing such an earpiece? I've never ever liked it even if the sound is in HD sorround,lol! It keeps falling off and also hurts! I'm gonna go sshop for an ear piece for it. There's dis one I've always used cos I like d sound qualite. Its called "M" and I sealed in a white nylone with inscription on the body. That's how I know the original one cos oda "M" is in transparent nylong and sold for 200 dis one is 400 or so. It fits into my ear perfectly well

I'm jus showing yoou to have an idea how it looks but then it comes inside a kind of white nylon envelope,with inscrptions on the body. Its sealed so u cnt see wats inside then uav to tear to reveal. The white one is written "white" as part of the inscription but the one fr black I written in chinese. Jus sha ask fr original "M" earpiece and when dey give you,you can check for all I've written.
