This is an example of what happens in the south but our brother keep destroying our source of income. Nigeria will be getting better when we learn to hold our governors , representatives responsible for our social need b4 approaching the federal executives.

If Ayade and Donald Duck want peace, they know what to do. Swear allegiance to SAS and stop all silly futile rebellious nonsense

These people should hold Cameroon govt for their current predicament afterall they decided to path ways from been part of Nigeria several years ago.
That's my thought too. If I'm not mistaken, I believe the world court in Hague had ceded over their lands to Cameroon meaning officially they're no longer Nigerians but Cameroonians. I don't understand why it's Cross Rivers state govt they are bothering for their welfare and not the Cameroonian govt instead. In any case, I really do feel for them. Large group of people forcibly pushed to a different country they don't feel emotionally and culturally attached to.

My brother, they were not forced to leave initially. It was a decision they made hence they would have choose to remain in Nigeria. Na their cup of tea oo!

let me inform you. The Hague judgement was advisory; OBJ just rushed to implement it because Bakassi is not his hometown. The Greentree agreement entered between Nigeria and Cameroon allows them to choose if they would stay in Nigeria, those who remained in Cameroon were haunted and killed by the Gendarmes the once in Nigeria had no home but hunger.

It seems the only language our goverment listens to is "force". Goverment should listen to peaceful protests and encourage such.
Several bodies have protested against the hike in utility bills with an epileptic power supply but till date, nothing has been done. If these bodies take to force, they will be labelled criminals.

The judgement of Hague Court is not advisory. It is the duty of the UN Security Council to implement it and force compliance if necessary. It is in furtherance of that duty that the Security Council backed the France's initiative to peacefully implement the judgement through the Greentree treaty. Nigeria being non-aligned, was (and is still) not in a position to take on the world powers.

Such a sad situation. The Nigerian government has really failed them. These are the kinds of issues the National Assembly should be deliberating on, how to rehabilitate these people and give them a sense of belonging, but they're too concerned about their allowances for doing nothing. Really sad.

Bakassi going to Cameroon was not a matter of ''voting'',,,......it was decided by the International Court of Justice ten years ago....and sealed by the Green Tree Agreement of 2006.

You can find the whole story of the issue here
