Hi Hector, How do you do?

I am sorry, I won't be supporting Falconey. I wasn't impressed with the way he shaded Ivyy after the interviews at the just concluded Miss NL contest . It was totally unnecessary. Take care.

I did that as a nairalander not because of the contest , I wasn't supporting anyone I didn't vote in the finals , I voted her all through .

I won't persuade you to espouse me but correct the misconception you have towards what I did.

thank you.

Favolly:

@last sentence... very good question

Saying natural hair doesn't fit everyone is like saying your brown eyes is not for you or your dark skin doesn't suit you. That kind of reasoning is borne out of something I wouldn't want to go into right now. It just does not sound right at all.

Now you could argue that not everyone knows how to or has the patience to maintain it, and that would be understandable. But saying that it is not meant for everyone is not true.... and that's what I was trying to get you to realize

And really, Obesity? Anorexia? Are you comparing one’s natural hair texture to a known form of disorder? The natural hair that grows out of our scalp should not be compared with a disorder please

PS: Dakore's locks looked really good on her wink

Happy Sunday
it's now obvious you cannot grasp the point I made earlier...

The more I try to make you understand the more you go off reservation....But it's cool... Nothing new.

Ciao!

[quote author=ireneony post=47362213]This thread is to create awaereness for those who wants to go natural or transitioning.

In this thread we are going to share ideas on how to manage our hair.

I did my big chop February this year.
It has not been easy. Being natural is not an easy task.
I'm still trying my best to know more about natural hair.

What most black women don't know is, what works for another person might not work for you. Yes! I do watch youtube channel. The truth is whenever i try Hey Gorg, try and maintain this your natural hair forever as it fits u n make u look really fresh as a fresh juicy fruit...unexplainable joor!just keep it up!i can give a bae 150K for just maintaining her natural hair and wouldnt give a girl da adores peruvian hair 1k!

Hi ladies, I understand where you all are coming from. There was a time when I it used to take me up to 4 hours just to detangle my hair before I washed it! I've lost my edges, I've had a salon disaster where the lady cut my hair from armpit length to chin length.

But now my hair is almost waist length!

It takes time and patience to grow African hair. But just remember that the number thing to grow our hair is moisture. Try to deep condition once a week and moisturize your hair regularly.

On my blog, MAG," I share my hair journey, including answers to questions I usually get on how I grow and maintain my hair. I also share tips for ladies transitioning from relaxed ("permed" ) hair to natural hair.

Wishing you all happy hair growing!

I had my big chop in July 2014, so my hair is going to be 3 years this month. My advice to people who want to go natural is that you've got to be ready for it. It's not easy and you've got to adopt a routine. I don't have a regular one I follow cause I'm quite lazy when it comes to my hair embarassed. But I never miss out on the protective styling and I always look forward to when I get my hair braided or fix my weave cheesy. Shea butter, coconut oil, conditioners(detanglers, leave-in) and shampoo are a must have for all natural sistas.

This Shea butter of a thing does not go well with my hair. Each time I make use of it, It will start inching me, had to stopped.
