Pls can someone tell me how long it takes for IQAS to verify results? I was sent a mail of receipt of all my documents on the 27th of June. Till date, I am yet to hear from them and no email address on their website to contact them.

It should be ready by now...however write a mail to d mail address of govt of Alberta u will find it on d contact us or feedback section.

I plan to create an EOI profile soon for Manitoba PNP for foreign workers. I'm trying to gather as much info as possible so it can be a one-time hit for me. However, I'm a little confused about something.
I work as a mobile packet core network engineer in telecoms vendor. This means my job description falls under NOC code 2147 (Computer Engineers except software). Job requirements on CIC website states that it requires provincial licensing.
I want to find out if (i) I can state this NOC code in my EOI and work towards licensing when i get to canada, Hopefully or (ii) I should state a lower cadre JOB NOC code that does not require licensing or (iii) Is there a way I can get licensing for NOC2147 from here and include in the EOI? I will appreciate your response. Thanks a lot.

Hi,one main thing about licensing is the time it takes to be concluded with it's cost. I suggest you go for low cadre NOC like Computer Network Technician which is not regulated when you finally migrate you can start the licensing process over there with ease.

Is quite difficult to get employment outside of Canada.Only a fraction of top notch professionals get some kind of arranged job offers outside Canada.Experts with vast experience in their respective field often get this offers.So in your case I don't know whether you fall within this category.

You can calculate your crs score here http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp, and you have CLB 10 already in L& R which is great (extra mark), only that 6.5 is the issues. Btw, that '0.5' is no bastard. You need it to find it.

i. How many years of skilled work experience in Canada do you have? It must have been paid and full-time (or an equal amount in part-time).
ii. How many years of skilled foreign work experience do you have? It must have been continuous, paid, full-time (or an equal amount in part-time), and in only one occupation.

Nope, play around with the CRS website you quoted to understand how your IELTS scores can affect your overall crs mark. You need 8.5,8,7.5,7.5 in LRS&W resp. Or @ least 8777 in LRSW

Pls, I sent my credentials (ND & B.Sc) to WES for evaluation. WES sent out verification letters to both institutions. D University got d their by regular mail, responded & receipt of response letter acknowledged by WES. However, d poly is yet to receive their letter by either regarded mail or email but they had been sent by WES. Just checked my account now and my status reads "documents recieved, review in progress". My questions are:

Will WES go ahead with d evaluation without verification of my ND credentials? If yes, will they institutions be included in their summary?

Secondly, if they do only capture my degree, can I request that they send another verification letter to poly for them to verify to enable WES include my ND in d their summary report?

Lastly, how soon will my evaluation report be ready after receipt of the school's confirmation by WES?

Allow some more time for the poly to receive the letters from WES or go to the school and ensure no one is slacking at their job. It takes WES 20 working days to prepare your report, that's from when they have received verification from all the institutions you listed. Pls correct me if I'm wrong.
