Prepared small fried rice with fried crocker fish. I threw in green beans, sweet peppers, shrimps, carrots and sweet corn.

1St pic is French Toast with syrup.
2nd pic is jollof rice with plantain and chicken
3rd pic is sweet potatoes and fish sauce.

What is gries? I'm running out of Garri and the thought of driving all the way to texas to buy it gives me toothache. six freaking hours. At this point, i'll take any worthwhile substitute. Even well grounded sand.

Why don't you try oat meal? Use your blender to blend it and make it just the way you make your semo. Very good substitute.

Mashed potatoes. It's smooth like pounded yam. But Be careful when adding water so that it doesn't end up too light.

Here it is. I don't feel the difference between it and garri plus its lighter on the stomach.
