Out of the 3 areas mentioned, it's clear that Morata tops in 2 of them (youth and NT) so even* if Lukaku is better in professional league goals, he still lose the comparison because it's 1-2.

In league goals, Lukaku played 222 matches and scored 93. Morata played 100 and scored 25... Lukaku may edge Morata here.

In NT, Lukaku played 49 and scored 14 while Morata played 13 and scored 6.....Morata clearly top here.

Interestingly transfermarkt value them both at 40 million euros...So what's all these talk that Lukaku is better than all Morata's descendants and Morata is uber useless bla bla bla?

By virtue of the fact that smaller teams play with tighter defences against big sides, Lukaku will struggle to score as many if he played for Chelsea. Lukaku cannot play one-twos in triangles and tight spaces. He also has very terrible passes and ball control in tight spaces.

When he has space, he can be lethal. But then again you see his technique let him down time after time.

Given that more teams will play against Chelsea with tighter defences than not, I say that any plans to sign Lukaku should be let go. It won't work. Let not the numbers lure us into a false sense of optimism.
