Although I don't condone criminal behavior, the death penalty is a cruel and unusual punishment to me.

I believe a more appropriate punishment would be 4-5 years imprisonment. Death penalty for an essentially non-violent crime is so wrong.

The death penalty is basically a deterrent, 4 to 5 years in prison will not deter people from trafficking in drugs institute the same in Nigeria against corruption and see Nigeria blossoms.
