The show gets more interesting, I swear. Ever more intriguing, beating previous expectations. With every chapter comes a new twist to events. The Old judge, Justice wargrave, is quite a character. He strings everyone tightly in the net, with no exclusion of himself, still, you'd wonder how he's able to put himself off suspicion. I like how his mind works. How he easily creates and terminates doubts. The overtly curious dictative lord type. He shows you what he wants you to see. Of course you are too damn stupid & terrified to look beyond the ordinary surface, so you keep your eyes fixed on the wrong places as against gazing at something and yet everything simultaneously, your attention not directed towards one particular direction. He hasn't been a judge for nothing, after all he has survived the trying years till now. Who will be my knight in shining armour? At first, I thought Lady Brent but then that one's always the strange fellow only that lately there's an edge of insanity to her builld. Vera and Mr Blore are brainwashed - can't come up with unclinched ideas. Dr Armstrong is just there. I have my bet on Mr Lombard for the time being. I hope he won't fail like the rest. But time is running out, he needs to act fast!

And then, I enjoyed every bit of the scene in the dining room held by the remaining survivors striving to uncover the devil in the midst, now that they know what's up, and I liked how it played out - the perfect court.

Here's one hilarious quote echoing in my head ever since I came across it:
"The girl could have done it easily - she's an athletic type. In appearance Miss Brent is fragile looking, but that type of woman has often a lot of wiry strength. And youd must remember that any one who's mentally unhinged has a good deal of unsuspected strength."

And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie... She's the real deal.

Kudos to you for creating an avenue like this where readers can share their thoughts, views and opinions.

This place will be my second home on NL henceforth.

It seems no one reads J.M Coetzee here.

'Disgrace' is a wonderful book by him. In case you don't know, JM Coetzee is a South African Nobel Laureate. He is just a great writer.

Where have you been?

I'm not done with Americana yet, I'm only on page 10. I'm reading 6 books currently, and since I like to start from the complex ones before moving over to the simpler ones, then I'll probably get back to Americana in 10 days time.

But I've heard the review on radio since last month. I heard it from Chiamanda when she was featured in a book review show on radio.

The book is basically about a Nigerian girl, who also happens to be blogger that's struggling to find her feet in Yankee.

Just read the book yourself so I don't ruin it for you with Spoilers.

*Clears throat*
*Exhales deeply*
Finally I'm done with Agatha Christie's And Then There Were None. Honestly, I can't describe vividly how I felt on completing such awe-inspiring masterpiece - am I excited, thrilled, or a combination of both experiences? Every part of the book was worth the time spent so to speak. No regrets. Rather I'd gladly read the book again were it not that I've a thousand other books lying in neglect. Now this is the sort of book you will read late into the night and lose awareness of time. The one you devour slowly so as not to finish the delicious meal quickly, you savour every mouthful.

In any case, I rate the book an 8 score on a scale of 1 - 10. There are one or two places in the novel that doesn't just add up, but in this case I won't criticise - since possibilities in our universe aren't endless. I'll live it at that. I think there's nothing else to say. Book's richly flavoured with the vital elements. It improvised suspense fully and expertly and this is my first time reading a book having me guessing latter happenings wrongly that the writer threw me off course yet again with the final narrative of the whole mystery that left me gasping for breath.
I'm humbled at the author's prowess for prividing me an invaluable gift. She's officially be included as one of my favourite writers, but certainly not the best. I hope to read other works by her sooner or later. Let her feed me more.

I doubt anyone who's not read the book I did would comprehend or flow with my rough, vague reviews. Lol. My actions were due to what thy spirit directed. Maybe I might do a better job next time.

Some writers are that good. They get you engrossed in their enthralling narratives and witty usage of words. The best of them are those that play the cat and mouse game with the readers. Every page and chapter is unpredictable. Meanwhile what's the book about? #fortheloveofbooks
