I doubt the answer is 4.

Not all diabetic clients are insulin dependent. She could have NIDDM.

As a health worker myself let me assume that the client is IDDM(Type 1) and choose 4...but for argument sake, it would be nice if the type of diabetes is stated/clarified...cos anyone can argue that the client might be NIDDM.

Answer.
Category : Advocacy

1. Arranging for a visit with a home health nurse may be important in the overall management of this client's care, but does not directly assist in teaching the client the necessary skills to manage her diabetes.
2. Providing a written medication instructions to the client's parents may be important in the overall management of this client's care, but does not directly assist in teaching the client the necessary skills to manage her diabetes.
3. Instructing the client to follow up with her provider in 4 weeks may be important in the overall management of this client's care but does not directly assist in teaching the client the necessary skills to manage her diabetes
4. Teaching the client how to administer her own medication is the best example of the nurse's role as a client advocate because this action directly helps the client develop self advocacy skills. CORRECT.

Thanks to all those who attempted to answer this question. Congrats to @TheArchangel, @WellEndowed for getting the answer right.

What's the problem?

CGFNS has accepted my application finally without the nursing council

Maybe we could resolve it without the nursing council? Unless we just have to do with the nursing council

Gratefulme40 has spoken well.

I paid official fees and fees for express service. I didn't stop there. I specifically demanded that courier delivery be used and I demanded the tracking number and I entrusted someone there to act as my paid for agent to ensure all these happened.

I paid more yes, but that is the price for ensuring things work in Nigeria.

Let me assume, your case may not even have been closed at the council.

If you need a contact at the council, I can help. If not, I have let the cat out of the bag, over to you!
hello..please i need your help,i want to renew my license urgently ..pls can you link me up with someone in Nursing council
