This Mayowa woman stood no chance with stage 4 cancer, isnt that what the doctors at LASU said? That there was no use, so what was the point of the fund raising?

Linda and Toyin did no wrong here.

You raise funds for people who have a chance of survival, but stage 4 cancer, she was going to die any ways.

Guess the family members will smile to the bank now.

The "smile to the bank" part is an inappropriate statement to a family in melancholy. I'm unimpressed. angry

Your comment is so insensitive. Do you think people that love their sister/daughter would be thinking of money at this moment? If you love someone, and the best doctor in the world tells you they are going to die, but you can still see them alive, you will just give up like that? I can't believe some comments I am reading on here right now.

So, you can trade the life of your sister or parents for $100,0000 ??

Don't mind the airhead. I am guessing she is one of those olosho girls who have nothing upstairs or a small girl.

If she had a chance of survival, good. But she didn't. What doctor told them he or she could heal her with that amount of money?

You don't know how gullible people can be. Wait and see the unfolding story of this money.

I never like saying this, but I just have to say it...It seems you have never lost a loved one before. You are talking like a kid, or someone with no heart at all. And for you to say Linda Ikeji and Aimakhu did nothing wrong is absurd. Linda went on her blog (that is read by millions) and said Mayowa planned with her family to scam Nigerians. What kind of mind would come up with such conclusion. What would a dying girl gain from scamming Nigerians for money?

And the girl is still defending her comments. She just dey vex me with her insensitive statements right now. When some predicament befall some people they blame the devil or one witch, not knowing they are the ones that brought it upon themselves with their utterances.

Dude, i lost my dad when i waz 19 and im the first child, if my dad had a chance of surviving, we'd source for any amount to keep him alive if we didn't have it. So don't tell me about not having to lose a loved one.

I never said Mayowa conspired with her family, I'm just saying what was the point of the fund raiser if the patient already had stage 4 cancer, what oncologist told them he or she could cure her and from what hospital?

Now the patient is dead, who benefits from the money raised?

Let's get off the sentimental bandwagon and be realistic.

May she rest in peace, I'm told cancer is sh!t so I'm glad she is resting now.

What i learnt from the mayowa saga is that

1. Nigerians are very sentimental and cannot see reason.

2. Mayowa was sick and dying and she was told to go and die at home and taken back to their home.

3. Money was raised for her by well meaning nigerians

4. Stories by the family was not adding up, you said you were taking her to atlanta but there was nothing on ground to verify that, and 100 million had been raised

5. The people handling the whole thing for the first time, discovered the details behind the whole thing, and that was what linda published. she said, mayowa was actually sick, but she had no chance of survival and LUTH had already told their family and they had not referred her to any hospital abroad.

6. The family started running helter shelter to thwart this story and now arranged to take her to south africa, after they said they were taking her to dubai and the police were already involved.

7. now she is dead, exactly what LUTH expected, but now some overly sentimental people still believe that Linda and toyin are still to blame for her death because they ensured that the family used a little of the money they got to at least treat the girl.

this is why i don't talk in public places.

i lost my grandmother to ovarian cancer this year by the way.

People should not blame Toyin and Linda, she(Mayowa) was in stage 4 cancer before it was publicized, stage 4 cancer is like a dead corpse walking it takes miracle for such person to survive it.
Which one is stage 4 cancer?
Pls throw more light.

If you guys know how arrogant Linda and her family have become, you will her no business visiting her convoluted blog. I blame Corporate Nigeria for their lack of values and patronage for mediocrity.

I have lost my dad to cancer and what the other person is saying is the truth, raising that money for a stage four cancer patient is just stupid, they should have just prepared her for death, only if you know what cancer entails and how it make stupid of all your effort including money, I know how much I spent, yet my pa still died, so it was all useless even after going abroad coming back, taking there prescribed injection, it was all for nothing.

Even if she has 1% chance of survival they shouldn't have jeopardised her chances of living. Her death no longer became natural when LIB promoted the propaganda against her fundraiser...

If you have been to hospitals before, you will know that there are stages for every illness. Even malaria get stages.

Stage 4 cancer is the state level the illness as reach, you can see how mayowa body is and her blood drying up.
