Yea, I remember that rain o! It was so bad that some cars floated away. I remember being at my friends house and not being able to go home till like 9pm. And when I did, what I saw on the road scared me. At some point, it was like I was walking through the middle of the red sea and Moses was getting tired of holding the water apart.

I've been "imprisoned" by the rain. Can't go out. Morning football canceled. A seminar I was meant to attend this morning, I can't join.

I use a car (not an SUV) and it cannot navigate through the water in my area.

It has been rainy in Ibafo since yesterday late night but my area is okay cos of good drainage system. I will miss the dedication of our new church building (Winners Chapel, Ibafo)

You can't stop flood in one day of action. It takes months of planning.
Areas with good drainage are safe. Otherwise, we can only try and mitigate or ameliorate the effect of impending flooding.
