is there any powervu channel that 1m disc can track in onitsha

Is tiger a good autoroll substitute to 4950. I want to know it's autoroll performance b4 purchasing. #limited cash. Urgent reply please

the 4950 is rubbish it cracks like hell on 1.8m on sp24 here in south south i dont know about the H & E series ,4922 is great i just update the keys every 15m but it is loud and clear while i watch 4950 crack itself to infinity

Bros,with due respect,I disagree,I'm in Rivers,SS Nigeria and beg to differ.I know the signal here is poor but from the way you're complaining,I think it should be a problem with your setup.I have the old 1.8m supermax dish (it is actually 1.7m when measured with a tape) and the signal strength is 45-46% on 4922 while 14% on 4950.I must admit it freezes but VERY negliable.I suggest you check your setup!

I must confess that Qsat 26g Autoroll has surprised me. Almost all the powervu channels are automatically autorolled, so flexible even without internet. At first I thought it was only for S24 & Sony but it's for every channel I have tried so far, which is class I must say.

well i love the fact that you agree it freezes,am in Cross River,well mine is clear in the morning with 14% and cracks at night well i will still twit it again to see if it stabilize thanks for your comment

Good day to all!! Thanks bro.for your observation. The reality here is just calibration. Strong technology is not producing sub-standard or lower grade parts, they are rather upgrading. A problematic machine will undergo so many upgrade to improve it without significant change unlike the good machines which hardly undergo rapid upgrade. With the issue of reception on 4950H if you want Sameerr and wizkid to give you the same calibration as the 4922A, they could. If you are an addict in sat. installation and you continue tracking. dismantling and retracting then .....i use 1.8meter dish with 4950H and at 14percent signal never shakes even during heavy downpour. About a week ago signal was popping at 32percent during a windy day. There are alot of things these machines are made to do but due to legal issues... I hope it's understood.

i had d same experience with d one i install 4 a family friend with d signal at 14% with 4950h,but i discorvered that it freezes at 14% when i use disceq but stable throughout even when it is raining when i ran a direct seperate cable 4 it.

I do have the setup running through the disceq with 3 Lnbs connected and even track with disceq.. So I can conclude that you need to work a little on the dish and also check if the lnb is not too old... You need to be addicted to sat. Installation to catch all the tricks..

the fact still remains that if you use 4922 it wont crack neither will it freeze at that same position but i am sure if i use my 2.4m it wont crack but my 2.4m fiber is already occupied @ 7west so it cracks at my end in the afternoon today the signal went off and am sure it will return in the evening cracking still and in the morning it will be stable,so addicted or not at my end here in Cross River state 4950 cracks at sp24 while 4922 is stable on 1.8m but on 2.4m am sure 4950

It can go either way with no problems. But you can track the Sat, upgrade your box and then leave it on any MTN Worldwide channel for a minute or two, it will come up. Thanks.

So, living in the same area counts for nothing in Satellite world, accept having the coverage. Once you know that your area has good coverage, then you much watch out for those little details I mentioned above.

gud talk bro!,but my own issue is dat,I tracked 24hd wit strong decoder,4922 to be pricise here in Ibadan oyo state n I got 45-46% on westside,then I blind scan usin 4950H..to my suprise all other channels came up,except those of MTN worldwide and I later moved my dish to eastside,I got 61-62%,I blindscan again wit 4950H and evertin came up includin d 24stuff,my question is why not scan wen I tracked it on westside?,is because d signal strenght is nt enough @45-46%,pls enlighten me cos I'm more prefer to b on a westside dan eastside

Yes, it's because of poor signal and superior tuner of 4922a makes it possible to stabilize and scan the channel which we all know 4950H isn't good at. The only solution to your problem is to try and improve the signal at west side for 4950H to be able to pick it. If you cannot improve it, leave it at the east, they are basically the same thing.

the signal was weak on the west side you to increase it to between 48 - 55% depending on your location.

bros you have said it all. and to add to what you have said .i bought strong cband lnb to replace my euromax. but the lnb couldnt see road. its only picking afn and nta. due to network mask behind my house. but as soon as i replace my euromax lnb . sp 24 came back danzing on my decoder.

Good day everyone!! The LNB is EUROSTAR ESCD-600 GOLD and it is around 60ghana cedis.. NB:with 1.8meter, there seems to be no tilt on the dish depending on your GEO.location,..am in Ghana.
