Make God help us with this useless policy oooo

I felt sober and sad when my bank told me this on Friday.

Which way naija dey go

Bro, I just don't understand. Forecast is that this trend will worsen further till year end, and we are just half way into October and it's as though it logically can't get any worse than this.

Buy subscription on Skype, $7 per month for 300 minutes (Voice call clarity and quality is good, I think it's a good deal, I've abandoned HotVoip) to Mobiles and Landlines in Nigeria. The other party in Nigeria doesn't need to have a Skype account.

Thank you

If I might add (don't wanna leave out the fun part): If you can spare an extra $8 and pay $15 per month, you get unlimited calls/minutes to mobiles and landlines in Nigeria. You talk till you drop! Again, the party in Nigeria need not have internet access or a Skype account; a Nokia 3310 will do just fine.

Hello All
Hope you are well
I would like to gain your opinion on my intention.
I have a Bsc in computer science from the UK, moved back to Nigeria in 2013. Been working as an admin manager in a company that provides hospitaliyy services. I want to do a masters in hospitality management as I came to love the industry and especially with its great prospects in Nigeria.
I can't afford the fees especially with the current exchange rates so I intend to search for scholarship/tuition waiver opportunities but I'm not sure where to start. Can you please advise on how feasible it is too to gain Scholarships/Graduate Assistantships as an international student? thank you in advance!

Think, Think, Think!
You have a job at the moment, is that stable?
If you spend one or two years in USA will you get a better job when you return?
Will you get a job at all?
Think carefully before walking away from an existing good job for the possibility of something in the future.

My Oga them, I throway salute to all of una

Please I'm currently keen on pursuing a Masters degree in the U.S.

I'm an Economics graduate, with a 2.2
Most schools I've been able to find are asking for a minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0.

The only different one is the California University of Management and Science (Calums);which is requesting a 2.0 Instead.
The problem now is they are asking that I submit a bank statement of at least $20k along with my application (I thought one needed to provide bank statement only during the visa application stage)

So please, can anyone help me with a different option ; be it in form of a different school to apply to OR how to go about the Calums issue.

Thank You.

Did anyone of you actually go past them with any of these items? Shay na to settle them? And if your bag weigh pass 23kg, dem fit close eye if you 'drop'? Also, is it advisable to 'bandage' your food items from home, since they might want to open and see?

Another option is to go to seme border and make the payment because in most banks monthly limit is $100 unless you see someone who wants to send money to his people in Nigeria and swap for it.

and u don't have any1 dat want 2 send money 2 Nigeria

You will have to submit a bank statement to be able to get I-20 from most schools. You can't change that. So applying to other schools doesn't wave that criterion

Study in the UK and all across Europe is expensive. To get a free education need to show real knowledge. But konkuretsiya to this place is very tough. For example, obuchnie worth 21,000 pounds. It is 7000000 in our currency http://ex-rate.com/convert/ngn/7000000-to-eur.html a significant sum! Alternatively, you can find a job in spetsmalnosti in the UK and pay for their studies in this way.
