I really don't get ur point, cos u re not making any. A good team can compete in all fronts and it doesn't matter whether they play midweek or not. Going by ur logic, all the teams competing in the champions league in Bundesliga should be bottom of the table cos they play midweek. And talking about winning convincingly, how many did Leipzig beat B. Dortmund, 1-0. How many did they beat Wolfburg? 1:0. And why re other teams not playing midweek not topping those teams playing midweek?

Mid-table clubs rank competitions in scale of preferences. Tottenham knew, after the 3rd Match day in the UCL, that they stood no chance. So they shifted attention to the EPL where they are unbeaten. Big clubs compete in all fronts. So u can say it again. Tottenham is a small club; a small club trying to be great.

Had it been they beat Monaco, they would have still gone through.

As a strong chelsea side, u should admit with me that I expected real thrashing from chelsea, I wasn't expecting that scoreline, at least a 3-1 or more would have been great, u can say Tottenham hasn't lost any game because the EPL is overhyped. Have u checked bundesliga table, neither bayern nor dortmund is leading, not even borrusia or Bayer leverkusen, u had more strength,more practice etc coming into this game, no excuse Bro. Chelsea isn't good yet.
