At the cinema (not showing to the general public yet till late December).. If you re not a fan of the Assassin Creed game series, you are probably going to get bored with the historical part of the movie. The action scenes were not bad, but from the trailer i was expecting more..Trailers deceive far too often and this is one example..lol
I was hoping to get to see more of Adventure/Action. The sci-fi /time travelling part however overshadowed it for me.
It was an average movie (6/10) for me. I'm not too certain if it would be a box office hit.

Did a rewatch on KNOCKABOUT last night.

It's a 1979 martial arts movie. Anyone who loves kungfu films would definitely find it interesting. A blend of action and comedy skillfully woven together into 2 hours of seamless entertainment. The Jackiechan-esque.

Can't remember when I first saw this movie, but it should sit between 2008 and 2009 if memory favours me.

That's right. But once you are born into our fateful world, there are somethings you don't have control over, things you can't change.

You just need to tackle them to the end with stiff boldness. The ever fighting spirit. Never giving a chance for despair. That, and more, is what I admire about the protagonist of the nerving brilliance.

That movie should take the number one spot for the worst movies produced in 2016, and should enter the records for one of the worst movies in history as well.

I'm at sea here. I don't understand what the producers were up to. And superman had to die? So easily? A god for that matter?

Methinks the writer nursed an unspoken grudge for superman so he did what he did to get even with him.

Maybe they reckoned that killing off supes would get the better of our emotional side, and thus by extension, garner massive positive reception.

Well, it failed to live up to its box office expectations - nothing could be more consoling than that.
So much for all the hyping.

First off, Supes ain't a god. He's god-like but he has an accessible weaknesses. Green kryptonite. And as a Supes fan, then you should know his fights with Doomsday are usually fatal. **spoiler alert** All DC fans know Supes ain't dead so nothing to get emotional about. Except you have no idea, at which point you're OYO with your feelings.

For all of batman's glorified intellect, he was rather a mindless brash-walking brute. I've never for once believed in the idea of that guy.
He's the most incredible superhero ever conceived - I mean that in a disapproving sense. He is faker than fake. An acclaimed hero lacking hopelessly in spontaneity and improvisation in real-time. To hell with the concept of "he has to first study the flaws of his enemy before going about thorough preparations and perharps subsequently launch an attack." That, to me, is somewhat unrealistic and lazy.

Batman is the closest to a human superhero that we'll ever get. Even though he's incredibly smart, he still gets played by Luthor. That's human, showing he's not infallible. Batsy is one of the most dynamic and improvisational superheroes but that doesn't mean he can't be overwhelmed.

God knows I don't the least fancy batman movies. First of all, why would a good guy have full access to high-grade techs like that in the first place?
A bat with artificial wings that cannot even fly. He is nothing without his gadgets. How can he even respond to a sudden occasion of a call for help which begs swift intervention there and then? Surely nothing is inspiring about him.

Look at someone who beat superman to pulp (really? Lol), but couldn't survive a minute against doomsday save for Wonderwoman who miraculously arrived to render support.

He's a billionaire with an advanced tech section in his company. I can't recall a bat costume with wings. Are you sure you don't mean Batwing? He's usually without gadgets when he's not wearing his suit. So he's not helpless, he's just protecting his identity. Sure, there's nothing inspiring about the guy who gave up personal relationship and good night sleeps to fight crime.
Batman is human, not superhuman. He had ample preparation for his fight with Supes coupled with the fact that Supes didn't want to fight him. He was out of his league in the Doomsday fight.

I'd say she carried a significant part of the day. I applaud wonderW. ; she's the manifestation of a true amazon warrior. I admire her valour, defiance, wisdom, grace and dignity even in the face of brutal confrontation.
Unlike our pathetically weak rebel coward who would otherwise have been responsible for singlehandledly plunging mankind into a long dark age.

I'm glad you could appreciate WW. She's really one of the finer points of the movie. And I'm very hopeful concerning her solo movie. Batman was weak in that situation but he's no rebel or coward. Even against a foe he had no hope of beating, he stood his ground. That's basic courage.

Superman died a real Hero's death (although I acknowledge that revelation in itself is what it is - hilariously ridiculous).

Shame on batman. Shame on everything he represents. Finally, shame on DC for rubishing a giant brand.

Damn! I deeply regret having watched a truckload of crap garnished with make-believe fantasies. Oh! How I wish I had paid heed to NL movie reviewers. How I wish I could turn back the fateful hands of time. I could have sworn a forbidding chill of impending doom coursed through my veins the very moment I heard supes died in a yet released film. I knew a terrible disaster was at hand and on the brink of coming into actualisation - no thanks to DC, my greatest nightmare, they made sure of that.
I feel like crying.
That movie is really useless!! They never should have made it.

Please keep your hate to yourself. Batman vs Superman : Dawn of Justice is a good movie. It could have been better. IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN BETTER. The high expectations are the reasons why many people find it dissapointing. But it is definitely not a horrible movie. And certainly not the worst movie of all time.
