After reading all the benefits of raw shea butter on skin, and never thought of giving it a try I decided to get shea butter recently as a moisturizer for my skin.

I told my aunt to get me and she brought it all looking nice and smells like the real deal.

I tried it that night, it was hard to spread on my skin and within a minute it disappeared. I was impressed and used it all over my body including my face.

I woke up to a dry skin, it didn't moisturize my skin as I thought it would. It was just there. I used till for a week and my skin started darkening. My stomach got little bit darker, so I stopped. It helped in curing some little rashes on my face sha.

Anybody with experience on shea butter? did it darken you or moisturize your skin? It did nothing for me and so you know I used it only at night time.

It clears marks and stuffs but it sures darkens your skin, the best way is to have another cream to be used at mornings

I didn't notice anything like fading of marks.

I did research and felt it won't be that bad to give it a try.

I used it under d sun outa ignorance. so d sun just help me fry my skin with d oil.

I don't think shea butter darkens the skin. Maybe you weren't using an SPF moisturizer when you were using it.

I use it for my feet, hands and other parts of my body but never on my face b/c it's too thick and clogging for the face.

I didn't use it during the day, only at night for a week. It darkened me all the same.

I mixed my shea butter with palm oil and tumeric powder so that it wont darken my skin


turmeric is a lightening agent.maybe you should try it

It dulled my skin too, I still have much left and it's a pity I can't use it again. After all the shouts and hype, well, so much for shea butter.
