Am in need of an suv and these are my options. Is there any advice on which is a better option in terms of durability maintenance, cost to buy and if you have for sale at a reasonable price and in good condition let me know here. Serious deal |

If fuel consumption is a major consideration, then 4cyl Hyundai ix35 should be your choice. Availability of spare parts may be a major constraint. The RX330 only comes in 3.3l 3mz fe 6cyl engine. It's awesome in performance in addition to the pushy interior with a premium quality leather interior. Parts are readily available but expensive. It won't be an apple to apple comparison. The rx also commands more prestige. It also offers a better resale value than the Hyundai. You won't go wrong with the rx though. 3 Likes |

breezy007: 47,000km of happiness since Dec 2013, parts replaced. Set of tyres Airfilters Oilfilters Engine oil. Note, when you park on a lonely unsecured street, you will come back and find you car intact. It's a different ball game with the RX330. IX35 any day. P.s you should get the 2014 spec. 4 Likes

diportivo: Lol! Why does he have to park the vehicle on a lonely street? We need to realise that any car can be stolen irrespective of the brand & model. If you are careless with yours, of course, the inevitable almost always happens. In my years of car ownership, I can't park where I'm uncomfortable. This has always guided me. I will rather go back home when I can't find a secure place to park. A lot of people are just too carefree including with maintenance. 10 Likes |

byteem: I don't understand what u mean, rx330 is way higher than the ix35 in terms of looks, gadgets, performance year for year. U can imagine rx330 was produced between 2003-2006, now compare that to a 2004-2009 ix35 and tell me if it is even fair to compare the 2... The RX is way way higher. The ix35 came to live with the second generation 2010-2015 and that is the one u can compare with rx350. I'm not saying the ix35 is a bad car, it is a very good car at a great price especially the second generation. |

You are so on point. I once bought new Hyundai ix35 2010-2011 model. Yes fuel efficient but a whole lot of issues within 2 years. The stability on the express is poor when on 100km. The back axle is bad; manufacturer error. Spare parts very expensive and Chinese made. Upholstery rubbish. Compressor located where water can easily damage it. I had to changed the automatic to manual after several efforts to keep it working. Recommended Gear oil SPiv not available in the market, even at their service center. Gear box not durable, it parked up 2 years after. The Hyundai service center operate a very secretive technical support. I fought them to get a gallon used as gear oil when I serviced it. So many bad report. After fixing the Gear, I sold it to CARS45 for a ridiculous amount of 1.6 million. The review is very poor, you hardly see the suv around today. I went through hell with that suv |
