May might be the calvary in terms of making tactically correct decisions under fire but bobby is the effing enforcer and can take may to the cleaners easily whenever required and even may acknowledges bobby's prowess

Enforcer?! So May is not an enforcer? Abeg bros don't make me laugh. Her codename alone tells you what she is - The Cavalry (we all keep spelling it the wrong way - Calvary is a religious thing, basically the place of Christ's crucifixion), simply refers to soldiers on horseback, now it's more of soldiers in armoured vehicles with specific roles.

Basically, back in day, the cavalry was basically the most imposing & mobile group of soldiers you'd see, imagine your ass standing there with your sword, and you see these mofos on horseback galloping at you, ready to tear you to shreds... Their imposing nature alone with their speed, added height, greater mobility and greater psychological advantage against your mere slow two legged ass. Of course, it's more different now, but they're now armoured tanks and air support now acting as cavalry. Well, I'm sure y'all can read the Wikipedia page for better understanding.

Anywho, she welded the Berserker staff and wasn't overcome by it. As far as we know she's the only human to not be affected by its long term side effects. Her level headedness, willingness to do things that no one would and acceptance of how things work certainly helped in this particular matter.

I thought I already implied about Dorothy when talking about the countries with their offshoot (eg Red Room originally being a part of Hydra, which appeared to be an offshoot of German Military Intelligence and somehow becoming a part of the KGB (Russian) - I guess we blame Hydra for being all international). We never really see Agent 13's badassery, especially when compared to her grand aunt, Peggy. But, hence why I made the blanket human Marvel Ladies shoutout. All else we'd have been here all day with me yammering on and on.

Anywho, I'm about to give AoS: Slingshot web series a go. Didn't know it existed sef, damn Marvel sprinkling random stuff here and there. Just like they did with the Marvel One-Shots....man, I miss those.

You'll recall where i referred to her uncanny ability to make tactically sound decisions when under intense pressure so her beserker moments should qualify as one of such, or maybe its her whole zen thing, so yes, i will pitch may against an unknown inhuman and expect her to hold her own, but we are talking about downright badass fist fights here and in this, bobby owns her, i know you're an authority on most things marvel but seriously cao, in a brawl between bobby and mae, my entire net worth is on bobby grin

And yeah i meant cavalry and know what it connotes militarily in history and presently, you did try to overdo yourself explaining it to me, a simpler explanation would have been "the cavalry is/are the big gun(s) that settles the fight once and for all" wink and sorry, my subconscious default spelling errs towards calvary most of the times embarassed

If that where the case then Bobbi would be SHIELD's top dog. You call The Cavalry when all hope is lost, your last resort. She is a legend in SHIELD's books and in the MCU verse Bobbi never even reach that level. And as we've seen May's prowess has also made her formidable trainer. Or have we forgotten who trained Daisy?

As for the Berserker moment, she said it herself - she doesn't repress her bad memories, she lives with them everyday. So she was able to not let the rage win. You can rewatch that episode to remind yourself.

At the emboldened, tell us when that happened...

As for the Cavalry spelling, even I made the same mistake before I corrected myself. I believe it's one of those things that we always default to Calvary because of the way we pronounce it.

I can't remember the episode but may was telling bobby she saw her during one of her physios at the academy, inquired and found she was at the top of her class and resolved to recruit her but she had been taken by another unit by the time she got around to doing it. Agreed she never reached that status in the comicverse but hey, we're talking about the big screens here and tv bobby is dope! And sticking to tv versions, may wasn't called the cavalry because she was the last resort, she was far from that, she was called the cavalry because of the myth that grew around the yemeni mission whose details were known only to her and phil coulson. The impossibility of their rescue from the double mother/daughter inhuman menace coupled with the absence of specific details concerning their rescue apart from the fact that it was all executed by melinda may from the perspective of the shield tac team that were under the inhumans' subversion rightfully earned her the codename "cavalry" so i am not going to deduct anything from her because it was awesome and well earned!
But in a fist fight between may and bobby (screen version of course) i give it to bobby! My opinion though!

I specifically said MCU, I didn't even touch the comics, since May is an original MCU character created in AoS, just like Coulson is a MCU (first scene in Iron Man) character. Actually, Calvary is from the Bahrain mission, where she killed the Inhuman kid, who was controlling everybody. She might not like her codename since it's started from that incident. But, she's proved herself worthy of it. Still say Bobbi would be kissing the pavement.

DCEU movies so far have a dark tone (Wonder Woman is looking different) but how long can the MCU keep up the comedic light tone especially in Avengers Infinity War without making Thanos appear unserious or the stakes appear as not high enough.
Regarding Thanos also, his motivations in the movies will matter for me. If it is to woo his mistress death (probably Hela: the villain of Thor Ragnarok) then I won't be impressed. If it is to amass power for himself for the sake of power, I won't be impressed. I will only be impressed if he's trying to save the universe in a sadistic way & the Avengers show him a better way.
PS: My prediction is Hela gives him the Soul Stone either in a post-credit scene of Ragnarok or in Infinity War

I have to be blunt, this is just stupid. You'll only be impressed if he tries to save the universe in a sadistic way? It's quite clear you don't know what you're talking about.

The myth about DC and their "dark tone" is just that, a myth. Suicide Squad proved that, in their own words Justice League won't be dark. Please go somewhere else with this half baked analysis
