Yeah because its not the first time something akin to fantasy has been added to the bible.
The visit of the three wise men, resurrection, virgin birth all these things are in religions older than Christianity so it must have been copied, even the mass census that drew Mary to Bethlehem never happened, because the romans keep very good records and they can attest to it. So if these could be added to the bible what makes you think others aren't.

Let's use Jesus's signs to analyze whether he really is coming soon

1.) WAR: "For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom". Apparently one of the signs of end time is war, and Christians will be quick to point out wars fought over the ages as proof that the prophecy is coming to pass. But is this really an outstanding prophecy, even in the time of Jesus the romans, where occupying his domain, and you can bet your house that they didn't do it peacefully, a small study on history and human nature, will tell you that in almost every part of the world, war is a constant. From the Roman conquest to the Greeks and Persian wars, in fact a quick look at the ancient warfare page on Wikipedia will tell you just how prevalent and deadly they were

With all this considered predicting war is not a sign of omniscience, as it is a constant, equivalent of me predicting there will be a lightening storm sometime in the future.
But there's even something better, do you know that wars and violence are on a decline in recent times?
So if anything Jesus missed his deadline as we are actually experiencing a decline in war. Less nations are rising against other nations.

2.) False prophets: Another obvious prophecy and one we can't even truly attribute to Jesus as the new testament was written decades after he died by people who didn't know him, Jesus was an influential figure and it was only after his death that Christianity truly started to gain traction, decades are enough time for someone to claim to be a prophet of God and it was in those times that the new testament was written, as Christianity became more popular more people would have wanted to become more associated with it, offering themselves up as prophets. Not expecting that there will be false prophets would be like making a really cool movie and not expecting people to pirate it.

3.) Famine: Starvation in Africa and some parts of the world are a stable for arguments concerning the end time, pamphlets with starving children on the cover are circulated as further proof of Jesus's prophecy coming to past. Again this is another unexceptional prophecy as famine is nothing new to the world, it even attributed to the demise of the Egyptians about 1000 years before Christ, so predicting more famine was nothing immense.
But as always there's an upside, there are less famines and extreme hunger in the world today, even with climate change affecting food availability, world hunger is lower than it has ever been in history, again the prophecy is going backwards, did Jesus miss his openings, reminds me of a former thread I created.

4.) Christian persecution: Jesus was never liked by the Jews as any one that has ever opened the bible will know and with good reason too, Jesus claimed to be the son of God, this is forbidden according to Jewish culture, so Jesus really did piss them off going around telling everyone he was God's son, so his followers being persecuted wasn't hard to foresee, also the followers of Jesus were brutally persecuted centuries after Jesus's death, when Christianity was spreading across Rome at a rapid pace, the romans were so threatened by this that they launched a full scale persecution.
Christians were killed, some fed to lions others crucified and basically all the nasty things you can think of, but after a while and with Christianity not slowing down, a new roman emperor made Christianity the officially religion of Rome and made worshiping other Gods illegal. The Christians then became the new persecuters(apparently they couldn't turn the other cheek) harassing and abusing other worshippers. Again there's a revers as Christians are persecuted less today than at that time, yes christian persecution continues but it is in no way compared to state sanctioned executions committed by Rome. Again the prophecy is in reverse. I'm sure the early Christians being fed to lions thought Jesus would come at any second.

5.) Pestilence(disease): I'm sure with all the diseases being identified today most people will think these diseases are new, but I assure you they are not, they have always existed but we just didn't know what caused them. In truth there are actually less deadly diseases today than at the time of Jesus, in the past a person with diabetes could not live past 40 now they can live a healthy life, in the past HIV patients would be gone in less than a decade, now they can live full lives.
Cancer had no cure and neither did the tons of diseases prevalent at those times, we've already eliminated small pox and soon polio might be gone. Again this diseases were always there but early humans wouldn't have know what they were, as they lack the tools and knowledge to examine them. Again prophecy is in reverse.

6.)Natural disasters: this is by far the silliest argument for signs of end time, natural disasters like floods are mainly on the increase due to Global warming and urbanization to places prone to disasters, but for those that will continue to argue, please do know that Natural disasters like earthquakes and volcanic eruptions and tornadoes happen in other planets in our solar system, totally uninhabited planets, so the point is mute. An also natural disasters aren't a new phenomenon as they happened even before the time of Jesus.

The world is not ending soon people so let's try to make the best of it. Spread the news.
