I would rather throw the money inside River Niger than buying a land/house in Ibeju-Lekki. That's how terrible it is.

I am with you on this.
Properties in that axis extremely overrated. Most of the projects are elephant projects. Those that deliver "eventually" use the worst materials in the market, you'd have to change everything yourself.

I recommend TBills. It's the most secured investment option around now, and you can get part of your earnings in advance... That's great.

Shut up!

Dude grow up.

There is no tax that's 2% in Nigeria. You probably mean bank charges.

Post the form or source of the 2% if you have paid such ever.

no it's 15% per annum. the interest is paid every 3months that is 4 times in a year. the rates can increase or decrease depending on the current t. bills rate. you have the opportunity to monitor your investment online.

I agree. The ARM money market fund makes a whole lot of sense.

What I like the most is its flexibility. Minimum investment if I remember correctly is 1k.

This means I can put into the fund any spare cash I have (the odd 50k here, 200k there, etc) knowing fully well it would yield interest and I do not have to wait for an auction date or "make a bid" as it is the case with treasury bills. As with treasury bills, you can also select the option of reinvesting any accured interest.

I can also withdraw the funds anytime I want and withdraw any amount I want. Usually takes them 48hours to action any request.

That place is not Lagos. Ijebu igbo is better than that place, at least person fit turn the property to hostel for OOU students.

Have you been to that place in person, are you aware of the Dangote refinery going on to be completed by 2018; the largest in West Africa, are you aware of Trade zone Center(of international Standard) also going on over there, do you also know about International Airport to be constructed by Lagos State government in that same Ibeju-Lekki ? So many opportunities in Ibeju-Lekki. I can tell you convincingly that; if you can give it a trial, Ibeju-Lekki is a place to be.

Stop behaving like Donald Trump.

Intelligently make your point.

Don't ask people to shut up because they have a different opinion from yours. Make your point and convince them.

You still haven't posted the "evidence". Please post it

My advice to you is that instead of fixed deposit, you should consider Treasury Bills. You can invest for 3 or 6 or 12 months and get interest rates of between 15 - 19% per year. It is one of the means by which Federal government borrows money from the public.

But you need to find out the minimum amount to invest from your bank, but could be as low as 100,000 naira.

That is probably where your bank will invest the money too, and give you a third of the interest they get.

Cheers.

Kunlef.

Thank you

Dear all,

Treasury bill is far better than fixed deposit, you can fix an amount for 91days, 180days or 365days at an annual rate of 15% to 17%.

The minimum amount required for treasury bill is 100k
But somebody says its an 'economics in the book'. can u prove him/her wrong/right?
Thanx.

ARM market fund - I remember correctly, minimum amount is 1,000 or 5,000 naira. Please check their website for a copy of their prospectus.
No minimum tenor. However, there is a small penalty if you cash out within 30 days of your investment.

Treasury bills - 90days, 180 days or 365 days. Minimum investment varies from bank to bank. Averagely it's around 100,000 naira.

good day sir! Instead of fixing your money contact us for a kind of export business involve you to gain almost 25-30% of your capital.
Whatsapp: 08079755787
Who you think say e go contact you for that kind thing, why not go and borrow money and do your own export.
People are genuinely afraid to invest in credible institution how much more through people.
Yes there are fraudsters everywhere.
Fixed deposit and Treasury bills don do us, at least bank and government dey involved.

The best investment is the one you can do and you don't loose your capital when it comes to the worst disappointment.

With a good strategy the stock market is as good and safe as the Treasury bills even a bit better because with that good strategy you could earn more than what the Treasury bill pays in interest.

The catch is the higher the expected returns the higher the risk of loss and vice versa.

I just love the financial markets.grin the binary rocks too Touch/No Touch grin

If you need strategy send me a PM let's collabo

ProvidusBank does 13.5% for 100k to 1M,
14% for 1M to 5M. For higher figures u can get a higher rate depending on ur negotiation with treasury...
NB: d bank is one of the newly licenced commercial banks in Nigeria...they currently have about 5branches... You don't need to open an account to do FD...
You can check their website for their closest address...or reply me for directions
