Like have always said, it's not about his colour but greed on his dad's path that will end his career, not a fan of Gabriel Jesus but the guy is a very fantastic player, more fantastic than our own ihenacho, look at the guy, he is very hardworking, almost every where, even aguero and nolito is kissing the bench down to the work rate of this excellent Brazilian, his link up play with others is great, he fights like his life depend on every ball, that is a typical pep player, ihenacho is the selfish type and not so industrious, his footballing skills isn't that 100% though he is a very sharp striker no doubt but team play is more important for coaches like pep more than your scoring abilities, he scored few goals and was demanding for huge wages, it doesn't work like that with pep, the best for him then was to start from a small club and work up the ladder but the father wanted him from the top, now everything is going down, the solution for him is to leave Man City, the obstacles are too much for him to insist he want to fight his way. For all round team player, an ALEX IWOBI will always be my favorite, it's just so sad for the super eagles, this is happening when we need our best legs playing well

Wrong analyses. Leave the dad out of this. We have all been waiting for how many months now for this oppurtuinity to bblame his dad..We heard this kind of thinking when he just signed, yet he managed to get into the first team. Jesus brings more competition. Thats just the fact and with a team like Man city, one should expect that. . That doesn't mean Iheanacho made a mistake going to Man City. He knew he wont be playing everyday there at this stage anyway. The only way he could be playing more regularly would have been to go to a lower league and there is no guarantee that he will be making waves week in week out with the quality of assists in such leagues.., We have had instances in the past where Nigerian players going into lower leagues were expected to get the so called exposures and playing time necessary for them to "blow", but it all backfired..,with them ending up fizzling out there; Ikedia, Aghaghowa ..,name them. You got it right that this is all about Peps mentality though.. To me, This is just a question of Pep having his own ideas. And i believe with time Iheanacho will come through either with Man City or with a different club. However, it is important to note that his style of play demands he plays in a good team with nice ball 'distributors', otherwise his play will look placid. And the top clubs is where this is more likely to happen.

Very good! Pure greed of my boy must be at the top club... simple loan deal would have saved him from this mess... now he will be affected psychologically
He loses form and he never recovers, we know Nigeria players dont pick up from disappointments easily, God help the young man sha

Around the 18 yard box iheanacho is just above average and outside the 18 yard box area iheanacho is actually useless. He's not mancity class actually.
Same reason Aguero is currently on the bench

totally spot on.

And exactly my fear too.. We need our best legs to keep playing week in week out.. That's why I love Mikel obi's decision to join the Chinese club.

Well said my guy

But then, Nigga still has a lot of time and things to offer

Not everyone who starts from a smaller club goes to become a champ... Na online you dey nii??

Messi started in Barcelona with the likes of Ronaldinho et al

He strove to be where he currently is

If Nacho is determined and dedicated, he can still be a very great player...

Aguero and the rest go still old one day na

Boss you don't forget say, he no be Messi or neymar and look at a certain saido mane, look at where he started from from Metz to Red Bull Salzburg to Southampton then to Liverpool, we all know our kelechi isn't as good as mane, you know why his career has been progressing, it's the work ethic, look at how Liverpool crumbled without him just in a month, they survived coutinho injury but mane went and all went wrong,i believe a route for kelechi would have been better than starting at Man City, now look at it, his wages will always be as tumbling block, nobody will be ready to match such wages at such an age.
Re: Manchester City Drops Iheanacho To B-list by Nobody: 12:34pm On Feb 03, 2017
Pep needs to understand ihenacho is not Messi he should stop telling him to watch Messi clips, he needs to understand his a poacher like lewandowski , inzaghi and van nistelrooy. His a good player in his own side, I think he needs to leave that club he needs a coach who believes in him.

Its unfortunate he chose Manchester City. This guy was an amazing No. 10! They turned him into an all out striker, which is not his strength. He is a David Silva, a creative forward, not an Aguero.

I know he will soon be on the bench. He should go to another club sharp sharp, no time to check time

Iheanacho does nothing outside the box, though he has an above average strike rate. Pep doesn't roll like that. He had d same problem with Ibra at Barca. That's why he let Ibra go even tho he was scoring goals. He has a problem with traditional 'standing' strikers. Unfortunately, that's what Nacho wants to do. I'll suggest a loan to a struggling or mid level PL club. He's acting privileged at Man City.

He seems technically limited to play the no 10 role.

so Jesus of Brazil is white abi. Always think before you talk. Iheanacho has not been good this season. He is over weight and missing alot of chances.

I don't think so... Go watch his U17 performance... He has a good eye for a perfectly weighted pass, as well as a good eye for goal. But City were more interested in his finishing skills, as really, thats where they had room for him. Its unfortunate that players begin their career with the wrong option. If he had gone to a smaller club and played the 10 role and excelled, bigger clubs will get him to play that 10 role.

What do you expect when a player like Aguero goes back to the bench??. .Nacho cannot get a starting place in Man City for the next five years. Leroy Sane,Gabriel Jesus and Raheem Sterling are almost his age grade and its obvious pep would prefer that trio...their pace makes them a cut above Nolito,Nacho and Aguero..I have always said Iwobi is Nigerian engine room

How did a certain Sadio mane started from low clubs to Liverpool, oga na greed, and kelechi isn't Man City standard Now, even a whole KUN sitting on the bench for Jesus, Why didnt he go to France or Spain when he started, no sane person starts a career at top clubs without establishing your team play abilities at first down the road especially if you don't have special talents like Messi, neymar, Ronaldo. Let face the fact, kelechi would have been better off if not for the dad greed, let see where it ends up, NIGERIAN players always have one problem in common, no good advisers, you mention that lower leagues are not good, have you heard of a certain Tammy Abraham or everton latest recruitment loookman, these are people who made waves playing in lower league, if you are good in the lower league you will make it up there, look at a certain Denis Suarez, started at Man City, but left for Barcelona couldn't break in then left for Sevilla, then for Villarreal before making it to Barcelona again, the route kelechi didn't want to take is what he will end up taking eventually, I hope he adds hard work to his name because if his play remain the same, clubs will see him as a liability not an asset.

If was a Brazilian they would put him in starting 11 since, just like they did to 19 year old Jesus.
Some players are good but just not lucky, like Batsuayi at Chelsea.
