What's wrong with Nigerians self? There are local things you can't just boycott for the sake of lazy and pop culture out there,I remember when my mum introduced the packaged poundo yam at home,we were cool with it until one morning my dad walked into a the kitchen and discovered the poundo leftover turned into paste, uptill now the embargo on that stuff has not been lifted,I've employed some body for pounding for them , grin grin

It won't be as sweet as the naturally prepared, firewood heated, owambe made ones

Lailai!

That's the trademark of canned foods. They always fall short of the natural ones

It's the reason I turned down the chance to live in the United States

90% of what they eat are canned.

In fact I'm tearing my Green Card for good!

I won't! I really want to thank Gov Willie Obiano for his good work in Agriculture. I visited Awka recently and bought local rice which is called "Ogba Rice". The trader i bought it from told me it was grown and harvested in Ogba and that i would enjoy it and true to his words, i really did. After tasting the rice, i swore never to eat imported rice again ever! The rice is so delicious and highly nutritious!!
