Thats why CBN, FIRS, EFCC, NNPC, PENCOM, PTDf and some other agencies are reserved for the children of elite while N-POWER is for everybody.
The most annoying part is that many on this forum defend the elite perpetrating this crimes based on sentiments and nepotism
this is the major reason why i dont shout witch hunt or rule of law, they get posts not qualified for, still steal our money for the post even after they don determine allowance to their own taste without our input, dem go come dey hire us make we protest so legal armed robbers can protect the legal pen robber by using us the masses as target practice. so many inmates on AT, no protest for them, i go come protest for one useless man. i go support any presido wey wan go jail anyone of them, witch or wizard hunting no concern me. awon oloriburuku

For me that's how God works oh, He's the only one that can break protocol like that. She was favoured. They tried to take it from her but God still showed His supremacy again.
Believe it or not, it's God.

By the time you wake from your slumber it will be too late.

If there is anything like your "God" nobody would be poor in Nigeria.

How A Sister Mistakenly Got Posted To NNPC, Gombe, For NYSC And What She Faced

This happened way back in 2005 but I think it still worths sharing, anyway.

So sister finished from Unilorin and was posted to Gombe for her mandatory National Youth Service. Camping was momentous and equally awesome. Soon, she finished camping, and luckily for her, she was posted to NNPC, Gombe, for her PPA. In no time, she was at NNPC, Gombe, together with other corp members posted to the PPA (a place she never imagined even in her widest imagination).

She was posted there anyway and all was just beautiful.

But getting to the PPA, she experienced the greatest nepotism and favouritism of her life.

Seriously, Nigeria don become somthing else e don tey. They asked them to submit their documents along with letter from the WHO IS WHOs. The rest submitted their documents together with letters from dignitaries. She could not produce any letter and it was then that it dawned on her that everything was ARRANGEE.

They had made mistake to send her along with the SPECIAL ONES because they already had the exact number of corp members they needed. They told her she was a daughter of nobody and that there was no place for her at NNPC.

She was so embittered and had no choice than to leave. Has she made into the city of Gombe heading to no where in particular, lo and behold, she walked into the state NYSC cordinator's wife.

They had met during camping and as an extrovert that she is, she had related with the coordinator's family. The woman wondered why she wandered around and asked her what had happened. She narrated her ordeal and then, the tuzzle began.

She informed the Coordinator, her husband, ASAP, and he promptly threatened to withdraw all corp members at NNPC, Gombe, if they failed to absorb her. They retorted that they already got the maximum number of corp members they needed. The Coodinator stood on his words so they agreed to conduct exam for the corp members to screen out one person.

The exam was conduct and she excellently passed. Having no other justifiable means to get her out, they absorbed her but scorned her for months before they finally resigned to fate.

I believe this is just a single out of many cases of this type. Seriously, systems in Nigeria have become so rotten from time immemorial. Please let this get to the from page; it might be what someone somewhere is going through right now.

IS SHE THE ONE IN THE FRONT?

@Op, Are you related to minister of info? Your sister within three weeks in camp became a family friend of the NYSC state coordinator? I don't know what free time she had in such a busy-scheduled camp except if she enjoyed some immunity from their soldiers. How many times do you even see the state coordinator not to even talk of knowing that so so so woman is his wife? Again, @op, I hope you too served. If your PPA rejects you, you just need to go back to your L.I or at most Z.I who will repost you to another PPA? Ok wandering in town, is it a way of finding another ppa? And the coordinator's wife was at the same time wandering in town looking for corpers that were rejected by their PPAs.
If you know any lie you add to this story, remove it and then I will believe you. I don't wanna talk too much. But don't believe even all the testimonies in your church. Some may be fabricated for the listening pleasure of the gullible congregation. I arrest my case here.

I don't if it is similar to mine, 2015 will a year to remember for. In 2013 i applied for the post of an executive assistant in a recruitment firm, 2014 we were call for test. In 2015, i received a test message from a number that i was invited for an interview at CBN Headquarters Abuja, i just smiled that these scammers are here again. In say 10mins my phone rang with same number so i decided to pick to play along, on the other end came a sweet UK accented voice asking whether i am so and so that i should check my mail to confirm my invitation for the interview at CBN. Heyyyyyyyyyyyyy, CBN ke! I couldnt shout, i just race to check my mail and lo and behold the invite. I kept pondering on when i applied for a post at the CBN but got no answer. I prepared myself for the interview and on the said date i proceeded to the venue, i still doubted it till the securities at the CBN headquarters cleared me and directed me to the lobby to wait. The interview went pretty well and we where told to go and not to talk to anyone within the premises. Why waiting one the staff just told us that we should not worry that for the fact that we have gotten to this stage that we have gotten the job, hey weyyyyyyyyyyyy my mind just dey happy like baby wey just collect his first toy, CBN is a place to work ooooo, i went to their gents to ease myself, i just felt like creating my special office there. Race to 2017, no call nothing from CBN HAAAAAAA, I was depressed but it was God that saw me through. I think around mid 2016 my cousin was able to see a staff and explain my predicament and the guy said we should wait that it takes a long time to process recruitment, for my mind i just zeroed my mind. But around the period we had the interview there were rumours that some APC faithfuls wards were absolved into CBN but we just felt it was a rumour not knowing that there is an iota of truth in every rumour. March 2017 i was able to meet an Adviser to the CBN Governor who told me to send him a mail on what transpire during the whole course which i did, unfortunately he confirmed to me that our list after the interview was struck out (by who-unknown). He just told me to keep tabs on any openings there and i should let him know, praying to God to answer my prayers and pick my calls, enough of this NGO volunteering jobs though its worth it.

If I mention the helicopter company based in Ikoyi that did cadet pilot recruitment in 2014 and selected 12 people from 6,000 to go for the training in Florida after 4 gruelling stages, only to end up taking 4 of the 12, and all 4 of them were from Anambra, same as the company's head of HR. And that one of the 4 they took even ended up flunking out midway through the course because she wasn't good enough...

And...Why do you think y'all kicked Jonathan out of Aso Rock ?

Answers:

Because he was a son of nobody, but a Canoe Maker.
Because he had no shoes while in primary school.
Because he was from Otuoke.

We are all guilty of this nonsense, except myself and a few other Nigerians. We hire based on competence and not based on tribes. How many times have I been called Igbo on this forum because I sympathized with the marginalized tribe, yet we all behave as if we are not the ones who graduate from Nairaland to offices and become practical tribalists.

We are going no where as a country, until we re-discuss how to be a United Federation without anchors on religions, ethnicity and nepotism.

I need me a new country.

Actually I don't know why tribalism is so rampant in this country. I can vividly remembered when I was posted to kaduna refinery during my nysc period. (note that I studied Petroleum engr. So I being posted there was based on the course I read). We were 15 in number that were posted there. After matching under heavy rainfall on the day we wanted to leave the camp, I still used my wet clothes to reach the destination where d refinery was located. We were told to come back a week time. That was when I knew that they want to do some screening and fish out those that don't know anybody. In a week time when I got to there, instead of seeing 15 Corp member, I counted approximately 70 corpers. Then I knew that those that knew SOMEBODY must have find their way here. Well we were made to wait for complete 8 hrs before dey gave us either acceptance or rejection letter. When I saw the people that were appointed, I saw they were all hausa. I really felt bad wen I was rejected tho cos I wanted to use my field of study to work. I really wonder the day the act of tribalism will stop in this country. Na God go help us sha

You claiming you entered 2007 and finished 2012 ..are you telling there was no strike during AKALA's and OYINLOLA's regime ...I no think sey na Lautech you go...abeg go siddon and stop trying to make yourself relevant
I never said their was no strike but it wasn't up to 2months talkless of 6months. But from the way you replied you seem immature. What's the big deal about lautech that warrant the 'make yourself relevant part'. Afterall, it's after school life that matters.

Same thing happened to me. I was posted to a ministry in Lagos, on getting there the Yoruba woman was like "omo IBO" who sent you here?" I said Nysc . she laughed and was like open up! Tell me who sent you here! I said nobody but Nysc . she said ok that I should come next week. I left , my instinct now told me to just hang around which I obeyed. As I stood outside her office, another Yoruba female corper came and told me she's posted here too that I should tell her how she's gonna register . I assisted her go through the whole process but to my greatest surprise, when she got to the woman's table they exchanged pleasantries in their local dialect and she was asked to resume tomorrow. She came out happy ,thanking me for my assistance. I angrily went back there only to discover she wrote my name with a pencil while girl's name was written with Biro. I raised alarm , she called security to throw me out but thank God that as I was still giving the security hard time, the permant secretary walked in and that was how I was apologised to and had my name written with Biro and was asked to resume tomorrow. If not , my name would have been erased and replaced. Thank God

Imagine!
Will it be out of place to say Nigeria is a cesspit
