that's just you projecting dear. We live with whites, you on the other hand worship white people. Big difference! Notice how you attribute every good thing to white people and save negativity for the black man. It's just a Nigerian way of thinking. When you cant keep up with others being better than you, you scream oyinbo this m oyinbo that! I laughed when someone was saying Kenya was better becuase of oyinbo, lol. Another dumb Nigerian once attributed the beauty our nature and landscape to white people lol, ilk really ? You are inferiority complexed people , you hide under that fake "giant of africa" bravado

Who did you save from oppression? You are proving my point that you cannot reason. Honestly what did Nigeria do that Zambia, Tanzania etc didnt do? You cant unshackle yourselves from mere bandits, boko haram, and here you are saving people from oppression, lol. Btw the moment you learn how 24hr electricity feels like , you can talk about being marginalized my afonja sister

See backwardness, I pity any desperado Nigerian going to a place like this

I honestly never knew Kenyans have inferiority complex, just see how they turned this thread into romance section because a South African girl is here. Is it on nairaland you want to learn Xhosa or Zulu, it's obvious that you need SA permanent residence abi? No wonder they treat you guys so bad(including Nigerian desperado brothers) if you don't respect yourselves people like that zarzar girl will keep treating you all like lesser beings

Lol, when I referred to you as being shallow you took it badly but you continue to be a member of a forum full of backward people and even learn to use their words, so what does that make you?

The truth is without the whites developing your infrastructures we know what your country would be like. There's no need arguing about this fact, besides you guys are also fully aware of this truth this is why you attack Blacks but allow your white masters (even Asians) to live in peace, how low can you get?

The more I think of it the more I am convinced about the possibility of mental slavery being a generic disease.

Good point, we don't have 24hrs light in most places here but have you finished enslaving yourself in your mines before trying to discuss Nigeria, have you ever asked yourself why it's only black skin you see working in inhumane conditions in such places, it's because of your inferiority complex. That's why blacks are the bottom class and whites sit over your heads

A Nigerian can never converse with a South African without a Nigerian blabbing about white people. You guys have this weird obsession with white people I just can't understand. It's as if one acquires humanity through them. It's trully pathetic if not tragic

Which infrastructure is that exactly? Roads, ports etc? That infrastructure? What makes Kenya? Bofswana and Egypt better than you then? White people? You guys hide behind your thumbs and make excuses.Lemme ask you? Have no new roads, ports, schools, clinics being built in far flung villages post 94? Who's building the new power plants?Lemme break It down for you, current south africa Is far more developed than It was under apartheid because the infrastructure you attribute to your white gods is distributed far more evenly. Infrastructure becomes obsolete and when that happens whos there to either maintain the old infrastructure or build me one? Aliens from mars?

So I gather you attribute you lack of development to the fact that you don't have white people? So the question comes then. Does it have take white people to build you infrastructure!? And you go on and on about mental slavery!lol

The way you guys reason is quite funny. So if someone tells you Nigeria has no infrastructures you will believe? Yet our economy has consistently been above yours for decades. Why don't you come down for a short visit and see why the likes of mtn will be willing to pay millions of dollars to remain in our country.

Lol, comparing Kenya with Nigeria? Hehehehe you've really got me laughing so hard lol

You should be comparing Kenya with States not Nigeria as a whole na. Start by comparing the whole of Kenya with Abuja, Lagos or Port Harcourt, FYI Nigeria is made up of 36 States.

When you talk of lack of development what exactly do you mean because no right thinking person should compare the level of development in Nigeria to Kenya, so what exactly are you implying here? South Africa, I agree is developed compared to most countries in Africa but there's a reason why our economy has been above theirs for decades now

Kenya, Botswana and Egypt are far more infrastructurally developed than Nigeria,it's a fact of life ,laugh all you want and yes Nigeria has poor infrastructure, lol. Another fact of life. Yes your economy is bigger than them but look at the substance not the mere title.are your living standards better? Your roads? Do you have 24hr electricity like them? Is your economy diverse like them?

I saw south africa in 1999/2000 and then again next in 2013. Huuuge difference, even OR Tambo airport was waay different. There is an obsession amongst our 9ja peeps that all devt in another african nation must be because of oyibo. So now they will say Addis Ababa light rail is because of chinese, not forgetting its because of the initiative of the Ethio govt with chinese technical input/funds.

exactly! Spot on,! The Airport you are speaking about was once called Jan Smuts airport, absolutely nothing to shout about back in the day, but when the world cup came , the same black government that 9ja peeps are always hating on , made sure it was something to behold. Look a I now! When the same Nigerians land on OR Tambo, they'll start yapping oyinbo this, oyinbo that! What stopping them from building their own Airport to that level? Waiting fo oyinbo no doubt

No one will talk about your light rail, we have ours here. You guys need to come down for a quick visit, it seems you are looking down on Nigeria. Don't be deceived by the set of people who travel out for greener pastures.

Most of what they go out to get is already here but some how, just like you who are being deceived about the condition of things here they are also being deceived by the conditions of things outside the country, most times when they realize that what they thought was real was only a Mirage, it is too late.

What is 9ja?

which decades are you talking about? because last time i checked, You declared yo economy to be biggest in Africa in 2014, 3yrs its decades? And with a capped currency. Float your currency, then we can talk. You will see who is the real biggest economy in Africa. South African Rand can be capped at R6.50 to the dollar, which will make SA's GDP to be $700bn. But we dont wanna burn $30bn every month to support that rate, we rather late the market decides, which in turn makes us competitive globally, hence our infrastructure development.

Even at the current moment, you economy is not the biggest in Adrica, you can continue fooling yourself, or your leaders fooling you.
Nigeria GDP = N92600Trillion divide by N315 = $293.96bn
South africa GDP = R4400Trillion divide by R12.68 = $347bn

You see you are way behind.

Nigeria 2017 Budget =$23bn
South Africa 2017 Budget = $120bn

See the gap, you can never compete with SA in all aspects.

These South Africans come here to form country-perfect because most Nigerians do not have access to news about what goes on daily in their country, so they don't know of the many dark acts that happen there (that only South African media report).

I am sure if they had a forum as big as NL, a lot of Nigerians would have known deep stuffs about them. Like how they have a caste system that favours the White first, Indians next, blacks and then coloured. Even the blacks despise the coloureds and that's why they have an artist (forgotten his name) that's sings about this discrimination.

They, on the flip side have access to hot-off-the-press news about Nigeria because they are registered NL members. So they know terms like "Afonja" and so on.

Well, I get firsthand news about most African countries, so don't lie to yourselves that your country is perfect -- we are all struggling!

I don't gloat in the failure or misdemeanors of another country because I am not that backward minded.

#CaseClosed everyone move to another thread (and bicker there, if you insist).
