Eruditor:I think they have this one already. The Pacers aren't doing enough. The team isn't even shooting.. |
Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 1:50am On Apr 18, 2017 |
SmooshCHN1: Yea, they do. |
Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 1:59am On Apr 18, 2017 |
Cavs is definitely going to lead the East. Not even Celtics. Maybe Washington or Bulls can contend. |
Re: The NBA Begins by birdman(m): 2:01am On Apr 18, 2017 |
sapiosexual1: I feel like Bulls are a better playoffs team than Celtics if healthy. Celtics are#1 in the east partly because they they play like the western conference and have the young legs to keep it up. In the playoffs though, hustling is a given, and you have to be able to plod through games and take account of each possession. Bulls may have less skilled players, but they are great system, possession by possession players - I think this is a first round upset coming up for Celtics-Bulls. If anything, I think the emotions actually help Celtics here - they need to blow the Bulls out of the water right from get go and REFUSE to be lured into snooze ball. |

Pacers trying to come back after some sloppy play from the Cavs in the last few minutes but i think its late....... |
Re: The NBA Begins by birdman(m): 2:50am On Apr 18, 2017 |
aliondo: give pacers credit. they made a run much more than the cavs playing sloppily. To me, I prefer this kind of win because it shows cavs have the mental edge and playoffs savvy to withstand a brilliant run and still close out with a win. Lue controlled the tempo just right - Pacers never got hot enough |
Re: The NBA Begins by lolawilliams(f): 3:09am On Apr 18, 2017 |
Great game by Cavs, Kevin Love was abusing Lance Stephenson as well as Kyrie Irving lol they were just bullying him . it took Swish getting injured for Lue to realize the error of his ways. It's not that hard to take guys out who are not producing offensively or defensive. Shumpert played on a better level, He came in to the game,PG became a non factor and it was like the whole team fed off Shump defensive energy. He played a great D. What i don't ger is the way we choke at 4th quater. we need ti fix our 4th quater woes through. I see a sweep or Pacers taking 1 game. #CavsNation 1 Like |
Re: The NBA Begins by Decale: 3:13am On Apr 18, 2017 |
birdman: Cavs make up a very few number of teams in the NBA that rarely tank a lead. If they start early, they pull through. If they tank from the beginning, it's hard for them to come back. Pacers got game 3. That I know |
Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 3:19am On Apr 18, 2017 |
Judge them (Cavs) after game 3. We all expected them to win 1&2. I still know they would win the series but I am yet to see them playing against the crowd. They are shooting lights out yet winning with little margins for a reason. The series reminds me of Cavs vs Detroit last year only that Pacers have PG13. By game 3 I would make my full assessment. Memphis getting abused like a D-league team. They cannot make a shot to give this series any viewership value. I expect another blowout win for SAS today. |
Re: The NBA Begins by birdman(m): 3:29am On Apr 18, 2017 |
Decale: Im not so sure. Other than P George, who is a legit spark plug on this team. Stevenson? The guy only shines in the underdog role when his team is down, and even then, if you push him enough, he quits mentally, like he did after Kyrie got to the rim with no defense. I also dont like that p george told c j miles last shot HAS to go through him. Why would you want to win a 7 game series on hero ball? Iso ball against cavs sounds like madness...let role players take those shots they need to build confidence. I though Pacers would take a game 3 like you said, but they are making too many mental mistakes |
Re: The NBA Begins by Mynd44: 6:43am On Apr 18, 2017 |
Kawhi was 19-19 on freethrows today. I always expected the Spurs to sweep though. As a Spurs fan, the only team I actualy "fear" from the west is Clippers. Please I know it might not be justified but those guys have a way of making the Spurs work |
Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 7:36am On Apr 18, 2017 |
birdman:This is a no-contest, it would end 4-1. I usually don't watch the Eastern playoffs till the finals, needless watching a series sweep. The Celtics aren't looking like they're up for it either. |

SIRcumalot:Where the Grizzlies wan see offense to survive the Spurs. Unless Kawhi and Aldridge are hurt that sweep is too sure |
Re: The NBA Begins by Mynd44: 12:50pm On Apr 18, 2017 |
A40:I mean, people are type like they are not watching the games. They way Kawhi leaves Carter behind is something else. |
Re: The NBA Begins by SIRcumalot: 12:56pm On Apr 18, 2017 |
A40:the series don go Memphis make we dey watch. those last two games no help at all but e go still happen. |
Re: The NBA Begins by birdman(m): 2:32pm On Apr 18, 2017 |
Mynd44: doc rivers has the spurs number for sure. but i would worry about the rockets first..they could easily lose in the first round or advance to the finals. they are that good and volatile. |
Re: The NBA Begins by Mynd44: 2:43pm On Apr 18, 2017 |
birdman:The Rockets can be handled. I am glad the Warriors are dealing with the Clippers instead |
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 2:59pm On Apr 18, 2017 |
birdman:Too many passengers in that Celtic team. They might be the worst #1 seed in history. The Bulls shot badly up till the 4th quarter and were still in control. The likes of Horford and Johnson were killed on the boards. Btw how is that Johnson dude a starter? |
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 3:06pm On Apr 18, 2017 |
SIRcumalot:This Grizzlies team would need a miracle. They have no one that can stop or slow down Kawhi. And what's worse even Tony Parker is playing well. This their grit n grind pattern makes their offense a struggle and painful to watch. Having guys like Green and Kawhi that can smother Conley is another problem |
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 3:12pm On Apr 18, 2017 |
Donlittle:Lmao I don table this guy matter tey tey. He actually tried in the first half but I don know am since his Hawks days. He is too passive. Which is a damn shame. With his size and versatility 14pts and 6 rebs is unacceptable for a guy getting max. There is talk Thomas might miss Game 2 to pay his last respects to his sister |
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 3:17pm On Apr 18, 2017 |
Roland17:They put Jamal Crawford on Joe Johnson. Crying in disrespect. Unfortunate Gobert picked up that injury so early. Wanted to see him son DeAndre very badly |
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 3:45pm On Apr 18, 2017 |
Poor Melo. So that woman still leave am. Person wey he wan fight Garnett on top oh Roland17: Hahahahaha. Wetin do your Blackhawks nau. I even thought you guys would steal a win yet you blew a 2-0 lead and cost me $250. All your prediction na offside oh. P.K Subban has made Jonathan Toews his beech. I had that feeling you would struggle with the Blues but it looks like y'all might not even get there. The Capitals sef don dey capitulate as usual. See ehn some things will never change. I hope they have a 7 game series while my Penguins without Letang, Kunitz, Murray and Hagelin sweep past the Jackets |
Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 4:07pm On Apr 18, 2017 |
A40: You beat me to this post. No vex say we make u lose money. To imagine we were 2-0 up by the start of the 3rd quarter was what made me feel worse, to chop sef come tire me. I stayed awake until midnight into overtime, when Kevin Fiala sealed the punishment. Joe Quenneville needs to change the offensive line when Toews is leading. The star of the series for me has been Pekka Rinne, my goodness, he has become the "Wall of Berlin". Dude is saving every thing that comes his way.I am not giving up just yet, i have been a hawk fan for too long to know that. Scoring yesterday was the only positive, hopefully we can convert that to a W. As for the Caps, i think they would still win that series. They just need Ovechkin to show up, hopefully in game 4, as he has been missing in action. This season NHL playoff's just tire me. But like i said, i am not throwing in the towel just yet on the Blackhawks. |
Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 5:04pm On Apr 18, 2017 |
So news is out Lala and Carmelo have separated and now a New York dancer claims she's 6 months pregnant for Melo. I hope it's not true.. Chai!! Phil Jackson already knew Melo wasn't ready for anything.. Melo just proving to be the laziest NBA all star I've ever known. |
Re: The NBA Begins by aliondo: 5:28pm On Apr 18, 2017 |
SmooshCHN1: Why Melo?? |
Re: The NBA Begins by lolawilliams(f): 7:34pm On Apr 18, 2017 |
SmooshCHN1: Pics of the alleged stripper. She'll be making 4 times of the money she makes a month stripping. A child support money for 18yrs from Melo isn't a child's play. Melo looks too cool to impregnate a crowd pleaser.

Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 7:51pm On Apr 18, 2017 |
Roland17:You guys have been a huge letdown. Its bizarre that una fit go 7 periods without a goal with guys like Patrick Kane in the lineup. The likes of Panarin, Hossa are the wildcards not doing their jobs as well. If you want to know why I dey so confident with the Penguins its because I know guys like Bonino, Rust,Guentzel,Sheary can step up if Sid is struggling. I think una goaltending is also poor. In Games 1 and 2 Capitals na regular season merchants me I know them wella. They are a mentally fragile outfit. What is worse they are facing a young team way ahead of schedule with no playoff failure bogging them down and its worse cos they have a coach who has won The Cup. I fear for the Caps cos for one I know they are not winning 3 straight so Game 7 must dey |
Re: The NBA Begins by Muna15: 8:18pm On Apr 18, 2017 |
lolawilliams: No such thing! These guys make so much money to the extent that to misbehave go just dey hungry them. I remember Dwade did the same some time ago and Gabby had to forgive him for reasons best known to her. I believe Lala would come back though but the disturbing thing is how Melo's career is coming to an end in a bad way. |
Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 8:34pm On Apr 18, 2017 |
A40: Baba, If you recollect, i told u i was skeptical about our goaltending (Crawford) during the post season. For some stupid reason he disappoints during the playoffs, and just like you said, not scoring for 7 periods is beyond bizarre, it has become a myth, considering we are one of the highest scoring sides in the league in recent history. Still on still, i am not giving up. The big boys have to show up in game 4, we have to score early. The annoying part that i have almost forgotten is the fact that we have rank 24th in the league when it comes to penalty kills and almost last when it comes to scoring with a player advantage. |
