Hello prof.
Greetings to you for the job you are doing.
Does reducing the fire of a Lt 6500 lutian gen to its minimum, where it only power just electronics ie 32" TV and home theatre have any side effects?
Re: Professor On Any Type Of Generator. by leoclef: 7:40pm On Apr 22, 2017
Prof I need you to help me with this challenge.
I have a Firman ECO 8990ES I have been using over 3yrs. For about three weeks now When I turn the gen on it works normally and after some minutes or hour it will just stop supplying power even as the gen will still be running. At this state I have noticed that the meter reading will drop to 0 instead of the normal 230volt working condition reading. I tried calling the guy who serviced it the last time he seems not to be giving me any headway info seems it an electrical fault while he is only mechanically knowledgeable.

Could this be the AVR/CAPACITOR or coil? If so how come it always run and supply at every initial stage.
Pleaseeeee help before this guy's will start telling me it one unexplainable fault.

Pls oooooooo. Prof in the house should help out ooooo.
Since I posted no response. Who I b?

Hello sir. I was wondering if its safe to use a 2000w steam iron on a 2.8kva 6.5 HP Sumec Fireman? Whenever I connect the stean iron, the gen fires up like something stressed up with a heavy load. Makes me scared it might break down.

it will not, but I think that ur iron is either tokumbo or is german(original iron), Thís new modern iron are very light in current consumption.

Good day bro.. I'm just about a 3.8kva lutian as well. please, have you ordered? What's the real price? A little survey I did on the price shows conflicting prices. Some prices are around 80-90k while some are the in the vicinity of 110k.

@prof enochogaga...What do you think is the actual capacity of this gen? I don't want to believe it's 3.8kva. I think it's far less than that. Like say 3kva

both product are not good on the medium gen,
1. they work like i pass my neighbor, when engine low current will low, if it high current increase also, which can born ur appliances.

2.they dont have second hand value.
3. they make noise easily
4. they use capacitor, not avr.

Prof pls which of the generators can i get that can carry iron. I am a tailor. And i only have btw 80-90k. I checked lutian 3.8kva gen. Sumec is expensive but you tell me what to do pls

Engr.Enoch. thanks.
Yes it brings light later on. Most time when the gen has stayed for hour/hours.
If I try to restart the gen Whenever it's power goes off It restart normally but the power wouldnt come on and the meter will read zero instead if 220v.

instead of the lutian 3kva get lutian 2.5kva, Co's the 3.5kva, uses 2.5kva engine 5.5-6.5hp,so therefore there are almost thesame

I mean the hours u run the gen
2 to 5 hours ,about 5 times a week. depends on the electricity supply. sometimes I run it just twice a week when the power supply is at peak. we have had our power supply cut this week so I'll be running it for 4/5hrs daily for a week till they restore it.
