Agreed.

So the business model works they buy they sell and they might profit. Do they loose out I think they do.

Lukaku is no 1 striker in the EPL and there was no space for him as a Chelsea player. For the Chelsea youth they just need to find another team that will give them opportunities.

What is Dominic Solanke still doing in Chelsea? He should be beyond youth football now..

My criticism of that Amuneke's U20 is more about players selection. And not the other issues you are bringing up.

So I just brought it up myself? U were not the one saying others have been through similar and done better abi? I guess u just wanted to go against the grain but the reasons brought up are clearly legitimate.

I told the house that Enyeama was conspicuously missing from Lille's home win this past weekend. it was Maignan in goal.... now my suspicion is confirmed.... Enyeama is also injured and have been ruled out for the season. So even if he has accepted a return to the Eagles, He won't man goal against South Africa or even against Cameroun....

We are just Stuck with Daniel Akpeyi.... as if I foresaw that no matter what, It is Akpeyi that will keep goal.... sad So plsss.... since we wanna qualify... let us be positive about Akpeyi even though we know how calamitous and shaky he could be... let us try to encourage him because.... right now, he is all we have got in terms of experience between the sticks ahead of our competitive fixtures. Let us also bear in mind that he has only conceded one goal per game since he played against Egypt..... even on his debut against South Africa in a friendly in which Ahmed Musa scored a curling wonder goal... he conceded just once. We have only lost one game in which Akpeyi conceded once and that was in Alexandria....

Akpeyi's games:

vs South Africa (we drew 1-1 in South Africa and he saved a pen. and was named MOTM)

vs Egypt (we lost 1-0 in Alexandria)

vs Algeria (we won 3-1 in uyo)

vs Senegal (we drew 1-1 in Barnet, London)

This guy neva keep clean sheet yet but at least he has only lost once so far... let us hope he keeps his first clean sheet or that Nigeria outscores the opponents in case he concedes his "usual" one..... Abeg.... we must be at Cameroun 2019 and Russia 2018.... we must.

Eagles Goalkeeper Crisis Worsens As Lille Confirms Enyeama Out For The Season

Super Eagles goalkeeper crisis took a turn for the worst earlier today when Lille announced that Vincent Enyeama heavily linked with a return to the national team is out for the rest of the season.

Enyeama has missed the last three games of the club due to the injury, and according to an official statement from the team, he won’t take part in any of their games for the rest of the season.

The former Super Eagles captain was due to hold talks with Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr about a possible return to the national team, following doubts surrounding first choice goalkeeper Carl Ikeme who is battling to be fit.

Enyeama’s return has been severally discussed, with Rohr openly admitting he will love to have the experienced goalkeeper, who left the team after a disagreement with former coach Sunday Oliseh back.

Nigeria face South Africa in the AFCON 2019 Qualifiers on the 10th of June, with Rohr now faced with the prospect of either fielding Daniel Akpeyi or Ikechukwu Ezenwa, two goalkeepers who he doesn’t seem to have faith in.

The Reason Why Chelsea Loanee Omeruo Is On The Brink Of Being Banned By Turkish Federation

Nigeria international Kenneth Omeruo is on the brink of being suspended by the Turkish Football Federation.

The Chelsea loanee picked up his seventh yellow card of the season in last weekend's clash against Osmanlıspor, and is one card away from a suspension going into Saturday's tie at Kayserispor.

Alanyaspor will be faced with a defensive crisis in the coming matches as two other defenders Georgios Tzavellas and Berkan Emir have three yellow cards each.

Kenneth Omeruo failed to keep himself out of the officials notebooks four times in his first 12 games in Turkey this season and served a one-match suspension against Besiktas.

The central defender has been yellow carded 32 times in his professional career and sent off twice.

Super Eagle Balogun Delighted As Ex-Barca Star Bojan Joins Obafemi Martins In History Books

Leon Balogun has showered praise on former Barcelona wonderkid Bojan Krkic on the back of his fine display in Mainz's 2-2 draw with leaders Bayern Munich in the last round in the Bundesliga.

Against the European powerhouse, the Stoke City loanee opened the scoring with a right-footed shot in the third minute, his first goal for the club after arriving in the January transfer window.

''You can see the qualities in the training. I'm delighted he was able to show it in the game,'' said Balogun.

"Bojan is definitely an asset. One that the Mainz can use well
until the end of the season.''

Bojan Krkic became only the seventh player to score in the top four European Leagues after netting against Bayern.

The other six players that have scored in the Bundesliga, Serie A, Premier League and La Liga are Obafemi Martins, Florin Raducioiu, Gica Popescu, Pierre Wome, Jon Dahl Tomasson and Kevin-Prince Boateng.

The only way I can describe it is when a matured man is so use to eating mummy's food and receiving mummy's care and attention.

He may refuse to leave home and grow up.

There are Chelsea youngsters on stupid pay every week, as a result they can loose ambition and the drive to go forward.

Solanke is relying on past glories if he doesn't move soon he will become another forgotten promising young star. Right now the number one kid in Chelsea is Tega Abraham and Solanke is out of the picture.

It's a lesson it's better to be in the Championship even League one where everyone can see you every week. Than in a unknown team in a foreign league in Europe if you are English.

nah, the injury isn't that bad, he will be back before June, the season ends in May, hence his inability to participate further

No offence but I believe that on his day De Gea has nothing on Enyeama. When you score against Enyeama, nine times out of ten you can point at the defenders as the cause. If De Gea had the defence we had at the 2010 Afcon, he would conceed 10 atleast

But he will definitely miss the South Africa game won't he?

And pending when he actually accepts a return to the team, he may not be available for cameoroun too.... So it is not just his injury.

You compare De gea and Enyeama....?

No naa.... no do like that because Enyeama on his day also trumps De Gea.

Enyeama had a clean sheet on his very first competitive debut for Nigeria against England at Korea-Japan 2002. He has garnered many more clean sheets after that at club and country levels... so Akpeyi got nothing on Enyeama.

that is 'on his day', doesn't happen every time for us.

Defenders or not, he sha lets in a goal 98% of the time, irrespective of the opposition. That is the same ratio Akpeyi has so far, he's not calamity Agbim and even that one helped us win a medal at CHAN.

Let's just be positive, we have a great team and we won our biggest game so far with Akpeyi between the sticks. All should be well

I am used to Nigeria giving away one goal, I go used to that with Enyeama manning the sticks. Akpeyi being there as far as I am concerned, will be no different. Na the same one goal go still enter at least.

Miss, you can always have a dream striker, you can have a perfect mid-fielders even you can have a solid defender. But a perfect goalkeeper will have to be an alien or the great shaolin team goalie.

Every goal keepers have their own inadequacy(ies) and weakness(es)-no perfect goalie. Enyeama is know to have poor judgement when it comes to defending set pieces mostly from the corner flags. But vinny is a guy you'll always want to have in goal when it comes to penalty shoot outs. He has gr8 reflexes and jumps that most young goal keepers will envy.

So miss, enyeama is still one of the finest goalie to come out of africa.

I wish Man Utd Victory too..... but ofcos it is only becos of how Pep treats Nacho.

I know how to separate the lines.... wanting man utd to win doesn't mean I get to poke fun at Nacho....

What Iheanacho faces in a big side like City is akin to what some people may be facing even now in their fields.... so it is wrong and absolutely discourteous to make fun of it.
