Depends on who compiled that list lol. I have seen a list where Lagos is among the top 10.

NO MATTER WHO COMPILED IT.LAGOS CANNOT DUST THE SHOES OF Kigali,Accra, windhuck, Nairobi, Joburg ,Abidjan, and all north African countries. EXPECT LAGOS FROM 15TH POSITION.

Politics shouldn't make you lie against your country. Have you ever been to Ohafia in your life? It's a city of over 100k in Abia State. Have you ever been to Yankari? Have you been to Obudu? This photo is of Ohafia in Abua State.
do dey use generator or normal NEPA light like other countries do to power this place? Is it owned by govt or private? What is the revenue generation like.. Who and who benefits from it. Can a fisherman benefit from or just the elite..

I'm sure you know of only Lagos. There are Nigerian cities that are well comfortable to live in. Do your research.

NO CITY WILL BE COMFORTABLE WITHOUT STEADY POWER SUPPLY. TELL A NIGERIAN CITY WITH ASSURED 12 HOURS OF POWER SUPPLY, I WILL BELIEVE. EVEN ABUJA THE SEAT OF POWER LACKS 12 HOUR POWER SUPPLY.

Obviously you didn't read the post

You just jumped to conclusion

We are discussing greenery

Besides you saying Abuja and Lagos can't be compared to Nairobi shows again how little you know

Okay Boss solet me just say N500,000 will be enough for 1 month right. I want to go and visit some friends in Nairobi.

let me help you out. if you serious about it. go to law school bus stop in V.I.. take a bike to engineering close tell the bike man you going to Kenya airways office. enter inside the build, with code tell talk to someone. that same day you will get your visa, 3 months visa,.... price of flight ticket is cost in there office, so you can go to wakanow.com or they office and buy ticket from them. if you want to spend the full three months visa. book a 3 weeks stay on your ticket. after someday go the the airport in Kenya and talk to the Kenya airways office and talk to them, on changing your return date, you will give them small tip... 500000 is enough and too much too spend. I have been they before you will enjoy your stay.

I think it reflects the sad fact that the people who say such things have never travelled and mingled with people from other cultures. These are the same people who will see white Zimbabweans and call them British, forgetting that most of these white Africans have never even set foot outside Zimbabwe, and their ancestors have lived in Zimbabwe for generations. I have a white female friend in the UK who is originally from Zimbabwe, it's only recently she has started trying to get her indefinite stay UK visa. She is as white as any other British-born person. In Nairobi, there are communities dominated by people from somali descent, but they are 100% Kenyans. It's the same with Kenyans from Asian descent, some of them consider it offensive to label them as Asians, they are full-fledged Kenyans and they are proud of their Kenyan heritage.

Ancient civilization started in Africa, your fore father's lived better than you are doing now with all your western technology
You cannot lecture me on anything that has to do with technology, ancient civilization started in some parts of Africa does not mean that ancient technology is better than modern technology. Technology can never be stagnant, it evolves and it doesn't change to be worst rather it changes to the benefit of mankind. No matter how you choose to defend mediocrity from our leaders you can never compare civilization of yesterday to the one we have today. Until you give examples of how my forefathers live better than me, you have not made any point.

Thank you!!

Nigerians are by far the most successful people in Africa, we set up the pace in entrepreneurship and innovations.
Unlike many African countries like South africa which depend on foreign owned businesses.

Let's make this a lesson for all intending to become political leaders on this forum.

When you and your political party becomes greedy, your indigenes, town, state and nation would turn out to be the mess Nigeria, the once upon a time Giant of Africa has turned out to be.

Over 50 Years ,yet we struggle extremely hard to attain 5000 MW stable electricity. Not because we have not the accumen, but sabotage, selfish interests, ethinicity and excessive greed would not allow such feat become a reality. Imagine the billions in dollars and Naira stolen by individuals who are less than 100 in number. Not even Mugabe of Zimbabwe stole as much as these Nigerian bastards in political offices.

There can be no sustainable infrastructure if adequate and people friendly security structures are not in place.

Who would, in their right mindset be willing to invest millions of dollars into a society where kidnapping for ransom and satanic ritual, day light armed robbery and murder, unfriendly multilevel taxing system, high level corruption, fraud, sabotage, human rights abuse is the order of the day.?

How many diasporans could wholeheartedly vouch for their family members back home, overseeing their various projects successfully?.

You need to step out of our shores to observe other African countries how they, queitly taking giant strides in making lives liveable for their citizens and you would wonder what bedeviled us as Nigerians.

Recently Ghana, a country's population less than 2 million, just implemented free education system at primary and secondary school levels. I saw that on CNN yesterday. And equally working on various systems to be at par with those ahead of them. Its tasking to even get Jamb registration back home for our wards.

Kenya is indeed a beautiful country, but it took some set of individuals in government to say ' you know what, let us set aside our tribal differences. How can we place our country on the global map for the right reasons.Besides us been seen as a safari country, animals and jungles'.

Kenya saw the potentials in tourism. ( Uyo and Cross River state have same potentials). They built and sustained old existing tourist site, voted sufficient funds to build more tourist attraction site, encouraged their youth in sports and athletics( who can beat Kenyans in marathon?). Furthermore their security system make their people feel safe at home. When Al-shabab struck at the mall, the world rose to the defense of Kenya.

When you visit this countries, ask questions ,observe people's mannerism, and perhaps we might regain our lost glory.

Have a wonderful day.

lol. bro Ghana is 24million plus.

believe me things are not Rosy on the other side. just that as Nigerians we deserve better and we all know it. Nigeria is indeed beautiful if you travel around.

As for free education in Ghana it's a Media hype yo! New government is under pressure from the people cos it was their campaign slogan. 'free education'.

How do I know? well I turned on the radio and people were mad over the issue saying Nana Addo is failing them grin

from Accra to cape coast, Volta to Kumasi, tamale to suyani. Nothing of such.

I miss my oha soup Sha sad

ok am hungry make I go buy waakye and red fish.

banku and groundnut soup go sure pass for night.

You sound pained. In Georgia, Nigerians are seen as rich even if they live in the same neighborhood as the Georgians. This is because Nigerians spend more in clubs, buy expensive drinks, wear expensive clothes and jewelry etc. You are so quick to discredit any good thing about Nigerians.
Hbuyosh:
Most foreigners from Africa living in Kenya are Nigerians. I heard that they could possibly be around 300k here......soooo, to claim that Kenyans regard u as wealthy yet they live and interact with you people daily, eat in the same restuarants, attend the same church, live in the same estates......it's ludicrous.
