I know igbo people cannot give an armed robber a chieftancy tittle. Even 419er are hardly given. If he is indeed a chief and wealthy man in igbo land then suspect a set up.

I am hearing now that the 4 men lynched in Ikorodu were not actually members of the badoo gang but innocent people who were set up. How can people just go around killing other people based on hearsay in 2017 and nobody is ever held accountable. There is something fundamentally wrong with this country, if the country is too big to be managed and policed successfully then break it down into small manageable parts, for how long will all this horror stories coming out of Nigeria go on.

I detest jungle justice and I hate the sight of it.

The truth is; those who indulge in lynching criminals are victims who have had first-hand experiences with these heartless criminals.

It's even worse that the Police can't be trusted to serve justice to them.

When you read stories about armed robberies you'd agree right away that these people don't deserve to live or a second-chance

oga keep kawayat, NIGERIAN POLICE WILL EVEN RELEASE A RITUALIST CAUGHT WITH FRESH HUMAN HEAD TALKLESS OF COMFIRM RICH THIEF, d armed robber will hardly spend 24 hours for cell, he go settle the boys & walk free.

So I COMMEND DIS PEOPLE FOR TAKING THE LAW INTO THEIR OWN HANDS

[quote author=MetaHuman post=56520321]have you seen mob in action before?
mob don't have eyes, they mostly just beat the suspect till he confesses then burn him.

Only in rare cases do they catch the suspect in action (not when he has already escaped and they just grabbed innocent passer by who was at the wrong place at wrong time) then they will beat him to confess others, and that one will start pointing fingetime. rs to innocents people when the beating becomes unbearable so the person can share in the beating.

This is why I will never support jungle justice except its

time. Ons strong dissenting voice stops others.

Ten thousand flies cannot be wrong at the same

There could be a million faulty eyes and a few people who staged the accusation and started the beating. Everyone runs away after they are dead.

That is staged mob action. Am surprised you people still support criminals being taken to police. They know the police more than you, and in return the police love them more than you. As soon as money changes hands, they are released. Even today in this forum I read of sergeant who sold arms to criminals. Meet the police for ordinary double barrel licence for protection and see how difficult things can be for you.

Did your father made give that ewedu mouth to me ? You flattino criminal goons now seem to think that this forum belongs to only yoruba and Igbos ? You certainly need your head examined and if the robber is your village chief or your benefactor or your gang member, rather than venting your grief on me, you can bloody well go and hug a transformer or pay a visit to the lagoon goddess. You are nothing but an irrelevant entity.

Did he not have an accomplice ?
Besides, who says a dare-devil criminal cannot go solo due to over-confidence ?
Was he caught with a weapon? The story is sketchy. Who identified the man to be an Igbo chief? What's the name and location of the bank attacked? How were they caught? Which of the 5 Igbo states is he he from? Which LGA? Learn to ask questions well before pouring vile.

I once travelled from lagos to anambra for an event and on the eve of the occasion we visited the celebrant to have some drinks at his place, then i noticed he kept going out to talk to a particular guy standing by his gate with 3 other men and afterwards called me aside to inform me that the guy who he was talking to told him that i looked like the leader of the gang of armed robbers that visited his house 2 weeks earlier, but he had to clear him out that i was a friend who came from lagos for the up coming event, just imagine if he met me on my way to that house,he would have called his group to mob me thinking i was who he thought i was, that's why i don't subscribe to mob attacks,i have also saved an hausa man in front of my lagos office from a mob who wrongfully accused him, only for them to discover he was the wrong person after i held them back and asked simple questions, the idiots were already beating him up,not saying that this man was innocent but they should have let the police determine that,in the midst of a robbery, people at times can get things mixed up.

People who don't do anyhow don't see anyhow but with rare exceptions. It is a secondary report culled by another reporter which may have left out some details.

No detail was provided in the first place. Just like saying one chief Kunle from Ijebu was mobbed in a bank for robbery. Such information is not sufficient to identify the person and as such worthless. The only useful thing there are the pix which could have been picked from another crime scene. Don't trust bloggers.

He may be an innocent passerby mistaken for a robber and killed.
I agree with you, especially when the alleged thief is still handcuffs. Maybe an innocent citizen who refused to pay bribe.
