If you have belief in yourself that you would make it without buying fake reviews, you would surely make it.

Try and implement the tips mentioned in this thread and you won't need to spend money buying reviews.

I did apply everything here and i'm a 5 star rated seller on fiverr.

What do you want them to do? Believe?! You must be joking fam! I was there last year. I became a level 1. Sales dropped drastically. I bought reviews everyday for 5 days while tweeting my gig link on twitter. Of course, my gig gbera in no time. So don't come here and start telling people not to buy review. There are many reasons why people buy review. Aside from ranking your gig and being on the front page, you need 5 stars reviews to stay there for a long time.

For instance, eBook cover design, my niche is highly competitive and my gig that used to be the first (I mean first, not just on the first line) have started moving down not because I get below 5 stars, but some of my clients no longer drop reviews. In fact, last week, over six orders were marked complete automatically.

Now, tell me how do I move up in the Fiverr ranking system if not to buy reviews or beg clients to drop 5 stars reviews? Know that the later is against Fiverr's term. Or imagine a suitation where a buyer drop a good review and even give you tip but mistakenly rated you 1 star? So you see, there are many reviews why people buy reviews and I believe Fiverr did same when they started.

PS: I became a level two seller in less than 90 days with over 90 orders completed and I didn't buy any review until I made this level.

You hit the nail on the head. I've seen Level 1 in 30 days, Level 2 in 60 days more than 50 reviews received from account opening. I've also seen 6 months no order by mistake. And staying on the top is harder than even swimming to the surface. Sh*t changes overnight, here today, gone tomorrow. Even some "5-star seller/$3000 a month/God is doing it for us/teamfiverrguru" bros here are busy looking for magic formula up and down to reclaim lost glory. Find your work. Do your work. Face your work. Not everyday count down to join 1,345,039 Level 2 sellers already on Fiverr looking for a miracle to Level 3.

At least I have sparked a healthy debate...that is something, because this thread has become less than useful, what we find is adverts upon adverts on how to exchange earnings and so few posts on on tips and tricks for newbies on the platform to actually make it to Level 2.

My posts are a humble attempt to contribute to the wealth of knowledge that this thread should be.

In case you are wondering, as any newbie might wonder, and many exasperated oldies have indicated about certain position statements I have canvassed

I simply came to Fiverr with a set of assumptions which I am sharing below:


1. Can I make it to Level 1 and Level 2 without buying reviews? That is not to say that I do not know why people buy reviews and I am not judging anyone that buys, it just does tally with my personal business principles.

2. Can I make it to Level 1 and 2 without fighting for $5 jobs? I have aimed for jobs in the range of $50 to $100 minimum, and have refused to accept anything that pays lesser than those. If I did, how long would it take to get there?

3. Can I make it to Level 1 and 2 without fake traffic?

4. Can I make it to Level 1 and 2 without asking the customer to submit a positive review? I have more customers than reviews by the way!

5. How easy is it to raise $10,000.00 from Fiverr doing all the above?

5. How soon can I raise $10,000.00 from Fiverr doing all the above?

Using the lessons learned from the above, I have gotten friends to set up Fiverr profiles, and I am guiding them on alternative strategies based on the results obtained from the above analysis, and I am also collating the results for comparative analysis.

Like I have said before, copy me exactly if you like, copy me with modifications if you please, I am not judging anyone.

I am simply conducting an experiment...I have a life outside of Fiverr and I do not wish to be professionally associated with Fiverr or as a freelancer.

I thought, I got time to kill, and why not use it to make some money and conduct some cool experiments and share the results with you guys from whom I got a lot of data to test/disprove assumptions?

So there is no need to fight me. Why not learn from me the way I am learning from you all?

Because I am out of here by August 2017 latest and earlier if the experiment how fast can I get to Level 2 under the above circumstances?

Some of the thread starters of similar Fiverr threads no longer post, because they might have moved on to something else.

I too will exit by August 2017.

One tip I would like to drop, if you want to create a business around freelancing, and are really really good, create a portfolio site, and feature it on your Gig, Fiverr will not stop your site appearing there, then users will be able to contact you directly outside of Fiverr as opposed to your telling users within Fiverr to reach out to you outside of Fiverr with all the attendant risks.

The second tip if you do pretty good job, repeat business is guaranteed. One of my clients has committed to a $1,500 job in 5 installments. Two already delivered and paid for, the third one is being worked on as I type.

The third tip is if you decide to outsource, ensure that you are an expert in the field in which you have decided to outsource, so that you can judge if the quality is superb before delivery and if it is not, that you have what it takes to ensure that you can fix it ahead of delivery. This means you should give yourself time to sort any issues out and not set the outsourced delivery date to the same date as you have to deliver to the end user. I cannot stress this enough, there are so many newbies who go to buyer requests and then underbid, get jobs and come begging for people who might also have bidded for the same jobs at the price point those jobs deserved, but lost to them, and then see someone else with those jobs asking for help. Later on those newbies will complain that they are not making it on Fiverr when it was all their fault.

I have read threads upon threads of complaints of poor quality work by buyers on Fiverr around the web and I cannot stress this enough, avoid like the plague those threads that claim you can make money without a skill on Fiverr.

People pay for value, if you can provide value, no client will let you go, they will keep coming for you, and you might then have to up your prices to send some away because you will be swamped with work.

I guess I have tried in my own little way to give back as much as I have gained from you guys and do deserve a better fare.

And for those that say, I talk too much,I do 120 WPM so I have no issues typing lengthy posts that deliver value.

And like someone said, I will be gone sooner than you think!

I don't think the problem is the message you're trying to pass across. The issue I think is the how. 900 words to deliver 3 tips or to further your assumption about Fiverr. For a good writer, you should know about being verbose. I read the entire 904 words of your post, I don't know how many people would. That's the average length of a post on Medium. Maybe if you were more concise, more people will appreciate the message. Keep up the good work though. You'd help more people if you spoke more to your audience. Cheers!

Go to your revenue page and click on revenue card, then follow whatever instructions that you see to add your Payoneer card successfully.
