A partial review of my Umidigi C Note - : Battery polarity - Would last an average user 10 /12 hours. This 3800mah is actually very good...... Proximity Sensor - Did not work out of the box, possibly requires more optimizations. I downloaded an app from the Google playstore, and this app fixed the proximity sensor issue..... The gyroscope does not work 100% of the time, is this a deal breaker for me? NO One second outage - On certain occasions, while using this phone, screen goes off for a second, but returns back. More software optimization required to fix this second outage bug.. Form Factor - This phone is an iPhone 6 clone, and it sure looks very good. Many people don't believe it's not an iPhone, until they have a closer inspection. I bought an original umidigi case for my Umidigi Z Pro, but after returning the Z pro, it fits the Umidigi C Note perfectly... Connectivity - It connects with WiFi very well and very good connection strength. Bluetooth connection - it connects to my smartwatch, bluetooth wireless speakers, in car audio devices, Bluetooth headphones & Bluetooth earbuds well. But occasionally, it disengages, but reconnects quite quickly (not a major inconvenience for me). Better optimization would quash all this niggles........ General Performance - For $130, this Umidigi C Note is definitely a very good budget smartphone. It does not get unusually hot (during charging or using or charging and using)...... Am I proud owner of an Umidigi device? Almost definitely. Would I buy another Umidigi smartphone? Definitely. I am considering buying the Umidigi Crystal Plus. If the crystal plus is released with the 835 snapdragon? It would be added to my insatiable taste of device acquisition (my madam would call it ojukokoro) Hopefully it would last a year.............. Would I still buy the OP5? O YEAH.......... |

Lexusgs430:Umi and this proximity sensor issue... How I solved mine was with a format then flash with SP flash tool. Proximity sensor works perfectly now. |

Umidigi just pushed out an optimization update for the Umidigi C Note (139.55MB)....... Would download and install. Hopefully, some or all of the already identified bugs would be fixed. NB : I hope this update does not introduce more bugs (well, I secretly hope).........

Another issue to consider if considering buying the Umidigi C Note, is the output from the speaker. If you are going to listen directly through the speaker on the Umidigi C Note, the output is crap ( to put it politely) I have mine hooked up to the Jawbone Jambox or Monster Precision 100 Bluetooth speakers (depending on location), and the output is truly amazing........... |

Umidigi C Note - Lacks Type C port, uses mini usb as such does not incorporate fast charge functionality. Changing from 0% - 100%, could take almost 3 hours.... But once fully charged, the 3800Mah does drain slowly indeed..... |
