@Bellong @WellEndowed please do you know if Queensland university of technology requires English Test for Nigerians . I emailed the school but they told me I have to apply first before they access if they can waive it for me. Do you know anyone they have waived it for?

Very very very lucrative in Australia. I don't know of Canada, so I can't compare.

Meanwhile, you need to be registered with AHPRA before you can practise.
Your lordship sir, is it possible for someone who is a veterinarian to get positive assessment as a veterinary nurse or poultry farmer?

I can't say for a fact if Vetasses will not see it as an attempt to escape AHPRA.

Between only Northern territory and Tasmania sponsor it.

If he can spare the money, he should give it a trial.

@lakola. See this. If you can get your PR do so instead of wasting money on Masters that might not pay off/pay off at the end of the day.

If you have experience in Agric, it is better you apply for PR than contemplating on student visa.

Agriculture is a thriving aspect of the economy in the country both crops and livestock. However, getting a job in the field like other jobs is dependent on your ability to convince an employer of your skills and experience meeting their requirements or criteria. I can't confidently say you will get a job or not but can only say agriculture is alive in the country.
Meanwhile, agric jobs are not what you look for in the cities, they are in the regional and remote areas of the country.

You need qualification in air-conditioning repairs or anything closely related.
Where did you learn the craft from?

I was once a student. The stress of trying to stay back after studies is no joke. I wouldn't wish it on my enemy. Why would you want to pay thousands of dollars for studies if you can go the PR route?

I don't know how many times I have said this "Many employers do not really care for Masters/Phd, e.t.c here. They are all about experience. What you have done work/job wise. I was very interested in public health/infectious disease and did a masters degree at a University in Perth. Believe me when I say that I have never used my Masters degree to find work. My experience(s) so far have sufficed.

The government is changing immigration rules. You and I do not know what rules will change before you finish your course.

If you have the experience, try the PR route and then do your masters when you get here. As a PR you've secured your stay whether you find a job after studies or not plus the school fees will be a lot cheaper

Good Luck

I never said people aren't looking for jobs. I said WA have more jobs and not just that, they pay well. Even health care professionals are paid crap in NSW and Victoria(I know this because the pay offer I received from these states was nothing compared to what I got in WA). Even QLD offered more than NSW and Victoria. I am not just talking about health care jobs in WA. You do realise that WA is the oil and gas state and construction is good as well.

I advised someone here about considering regional areas, get the experience you want and move on. The problem with the young ones are they focus mainly on cities where the competition is high and if you DO NOT HAVE THE EXPERIENCE THAT THEY NEED YOU DO NOT STAND A CHANCE and this applies to health care professionals as well

There is this Zimbabwean I know in Perth. Married to a miner who works at Newman. I know her because she is friends with my sister inlaw. After studies my sister inlaw relocated to regional area (she was on a student visa and needed to work towards getting her PR, the Zimbabwean was already a PR). SIL got a job about 5 hours south of Perth in a hospital full time work. Zimbabwean applied for graduate programs but couldn't get in so she joined Mediserve Nursing Agency instead while waiting for a full time job. SIL worked in regional for 18 months and within that 18 months got her PR then she applied for a job at Royal Perth hospital (because it is under the same WACHs) she got the job and moved back to Perth. The Zim woman still couldn't get a full time job.

My point is there is more competition in cities than in regional areas. For a newbie or for those without experience, you almost do not stand a chance because people with more years of experience than you are competing with you. I can only speak for Perth and in the health care field, before an employer will sponsor you for PR, You must have yearsssssssss of experience in that field or lucky enough to find am employer who is desperate(now in a city filled with people with experience, how lucky will you be to find a desperate employer?). Some regional WA would however accept a newbie with 0 experience as long as that person is willing to stay there and work

Hello, whats your advise for a project management graduate finishing without pm experience. Should he stay back in sydney and look for internships positions that may lead to full time job or is it adviseable to move to a regional area after studies? Pls your advice is desperately needed

Project management(PM) is a very good course...in fact very very good. I once saw a job ad on the WACHs website for project manager and the pay was like 150k and they were asking for I think 4 years experience.

While I was regional, I never came across project management jobs. Some were contracted to work regional by a city based organization for some weeks and back again in the city. The few I knew about though were in Perth.

Do you think you can get internship jobs in Sydney? have you considered a graduate program with the government? department of immigration and border protection (DIPB) some weeks back was on facebook and online encouraging students to apply for grad program with them, PM and IT were highly sought after by DIPB

Federal government jobs are only available to citizens including grad programs.

@Manucho,

Your occupation requires a Bachelor degree and at least one year experience. Vetasses will not give a positive assessment to HND for agric occupations.

Crap. Yea you are right.

@egbabiekperemo1

Yea you are not eligible. I actually considered working with the department of health when I came across the graduate program by DIBP on facebook and online embarassed. Applicants were citizens. PRs eligible for citizenship were advised to apply only if they were sure to get their citizenship by the 30th of June

If you are sure you'll get a job in Sydney then go ahead. If not look at other states. I just envy you. That course of yours is hot cake cool
