surprised!

yeah we have gotten a positive assessment from AACA body in march. as for the 60point below I our calculation, maybe I might be wrong

Age= 30points
English= ??points
Skilled assessment (more than 8yrs)= 15points
Qualification= 15points

total is 60points for now we are still waiting for English result.

Educational qualification goes hand in hand with skill assessment.======if this is true, then we have done both.

Is the English exam PTE-A?, =======NO, it is IELTS

thanks for your response.

Oh! Good to know your husband has gotten a positive assessment from AACA. I'm an architect too.. currently in Australia. There are some questions I will like to ask your husband. I will send you a PM now.

Oh! Northern territory. Where do I get 15m plus from? shocked

It seems the state is basically for those who are already made o and just wants to migrate for sanity sake, not really to come and make money. I am interested in both abeg!

Not necessarily it is all in cash deposit. You can add shares certificate, landed properties, jewellery valuation etc. Anything that can easily be changed for cash.

Good morning folks, i have been following this thread for so long and the Canadian PR thread for long now and i must commend all the members of this house for the good job. i want to embark on this PR journey and after weighing the options of Canada and Aussie. i chose Aussie and start with the first step which is IELTS and now my result is just released and there is a danger, the danger is my result will not fit into this Aussie Journey cos of the low band in my writing n Speaking module

IELTS result:

Listening: 8.0
Reading: 8.0
Writing: 7.0
Speaking: 6.5
Overall: 7.5

my questions are:
1) What can i do to have my Speaking and Writing skyrocket to 8.0 as i am confident i should have higher band in this modules and even my reading should be 8.5 or 9, though this does not pose a prob. is there any hope of my band jumping from 6.5 and 7.o to 8.o respectively.

2) should i focus only on the review of speaking module to 7.0 and then shift to Canada PR prog?

3) Is there any likelihood of the IELTS criteria being reviewed downwards in the coming changes in immigration rules from 1st of July.

4)should i reg for the next available IELTS or i should stick to the review?

5) Is PTE-A easier than IELTS? which one is easier to get the 20 points?

@gaaaa,

You did not state any other information aside the English test.
What occupation are you nominating?

Without the English, what will your points be from other criteria?

If you are confident of what you did, you can challenge both the speaking and writing as the two are subjective.
