The HoR also got some slots which I am not exactly sure of. Among all the available slots, the single highest percentage went to the Minister of State Petroleum. These people have sent their preferred candidates already and are only waiting for a feedback. DPR got approval to recruit 700+ staff but will spread the recruitment over a period of time. The first batch is about 100. They have a policy to recruit a good percentage on merit, it is therefore advisable to quit all these rumour mongering and prepare well for the aptitude test. It will DEFINITELY come.

Read the bill well. from section 3 to 4 clearly states that all obligations and rights of DPR and other agencies become vested in NPRC.

The NPRC might then decide to have a department that does what DPR does now. But to say it has no effect on recruitment is just blind optimism

I think what Zarah said might be true with regard to Senate delaying it but as of the number of slot am not aware. A reliable person in the top management informed me that the list is with the senate. He said they have finish the shortlisting but Senate is playing politics. So let's keep praying....it is well

from my understanding of d PIGB passed, there was no section that mentioned DPR was going to b scrapped or merged rather it stated that the operations of DPR would now b regulated by NRPC.going by that, DPR organization structure remains same and d possibility of such affecting of stalling d recruitment is next to none.in my opinion the only thing delaying this recruitment is d large vested political interest

There is a difference between vested & regulate as used in the PIGB. Since your understanding/comprehension of English language isnt poor, why don't you explain my screen shot subsection by subsection

"Vested" is obviously quite different from "regulate". All powers and obligations of DPR, PPPRA and PEF will be "transferred" to the NPRC. I honestly can't make you understand any better if you are this determined to be empty headed
