So I and a couple of friends have been having an unending argument about who is more powerful between the Chief Justice of Nigeria and Attorney General of the Federation with regards to due process and no government influence.

The head of the Judiciary is theChief Justice,
The A.G is the Government Lawyer and Minister of Justice...
The A.G is a Member of the Bar (Lawyer) while the C.J, belongs to the Bench... (Judge)

To me the Chief Justice is more powerful than The A.G.
Federal High Court Judge can send the A.G to Prison for Contempt the A.G goes to Court like any other Lawyer, conduct his case(s) like any other Lawyer, even when he's in Court he has to bow before MY LORDSHIP(S)..

Chief justice(also called chief Judge) is more powerful compared to attorney general(more like a lawyer of the state/federal government).

moreover CJN is number 5 citizen of Nigeria.
