I traveled from Lagos to Ilorin in a Toyota camry 1999 model on a full tank (Cruising at a speed of 120km/hr averagely), the fuel consumption on arrival isn't up to a quarter tank.

SO upon all the mouth u dey make u only do 120km/hr on a highway. Is that one overspeeding? I was expecting u to be ding like 180km/hr then we know u like speed. 120km/hr is normal cruising on a highway, though I don't go above 130km/hr when I travel, but since u like speed u should be doing a lot more.

Try using that ur 1999 camry to do 180km/hr and come back and tell us if the fuel economy is the same. Fuel cosumption depends on the rpm of ur car. At 120km/hr ur rpm will be around 2,500 - 3000.... but at 180km/hr ur rpm will be above 4,000... more fuel. And u know one funny thing? When u overtake someone and then say 20 min later u stop to take a piss, before u finish ur piss that person u overtook will still drive past u. So then what's the need for speed?

Do you guys know you not only constitute a danger not to only yourself but to others.

For thwre to be a speed limit on a road. They must have calculated the differences and other things like pedestrian, road terrian, curvature into consideration, traffic and other things.


You can't just blow 80km on a busy road with a market and likely school children crossing without being a danger to yourself and the others. Walahi, ignorance is bliss for Nigerians. No wonder people would be drinking alcohol that impairs their vision and thinking and still hop behind a wheel.

I think it depends on the car u are using.

120km/hr is over speeding for my Mazda 323f. Dey no born me well to run 140km for normal road. And the speedometer is 220km

I saved a lot of lives with my calculated speed. Only lost 1 life out of 15 in an extreme emergency cases.

I travelled with Camry 2004 early dis year,Left my house(Alagbado) @5:30am with full tank,I got to owerri 11:45am with my fuel tank almost entering reserve, also note d car AC was on throughout d journey.. I didn't exceed 130km.. To be frank with swift driving pays..

Looks like u don't know the difference between overspeeding and cruising. On some roads and situations 60km/hr can be overspeeding while on some other roads and conditions 140km/hr might not be overspeeding. But if u ask me overspeeding really does not have any advantage, rather u cause urself unnecessary risk.

The op got it twisted, he doesn't even know what he's saying. Because u are speeding doesn't necessarily mean u are overspeeding. And overspeeding has no single advantage. Sometimes 60km/hr is overspeeding and sometimes 140km/hr is not overspeeding. It all depends on the road and condition of driving.

i am more alert and my driving is more technical and smart when I am on top speed behind the wheels. Speeding makes good driver alert and smart

After overtaking every car, like a most wanted who just carried out a grand theft and is being chased by rivals, you get to a checkpoint and all the cars you overtook are right behind you in a split second. Then you wonder _what exactly is the Need For Speed?
