So even if it lifts 1 million tons cargo per flight, does that diminish the fact that south east is a landlocked state, in fact it further accentuate the fact that it is a landlocked state and the cost of acquiring at least 500 autonov to supply over 40 millions population, maintenance, human resources, cost of changing them, say every three years will further impoverish you guys.

You say all these things for the sake of argument but reality will shock you guys.

Now is a poser, how much is the cost of the autonov Hercules, how much is the maintenance cost per annum for one and multiply it by 500, is there any ndigbo igbo that can fly and land the plane, how much is the cost of maintaining them, how much will the cost of goods imported will be, compared to shipped ones
I bet these have not even crossed your minds.

Biafra will fail abysmally, if you guys continue to reason like this, I was expecting your will say, igbos will manufacture goods of high quality that will make it a mecca for all neighbouring states not importing.

Think about it.

This Hausa man took a deep cut of his gworo and said to me, "Biafra will be landlocked, over populated, they will loose so much wealth and the separation will most likely be a war"..

I sipped my wine, because I knew he was on the cheapest fears and I said to him,"I have all the keys to those pad locks"..

First look at these..Two scenarios..
A Biafra with the south south and another without the south south.
Without the South South... How has landlock stopped a nation from growing? In this era of Antonov An-225 Hercules planes that can lift over 450000kg equivalent to almost 2 ships and who remembers a SEAPORT in this generation of INTERNET-PORT when 85% of world's transactions are done through high speed broad band Internet. Gambia, Togo, Benin, Mauritania, Guinea etc all have unlimited assess to the sea.. Ha ji ya mee gini?? Are they in anyway doing better than Rwanda, Bostwana and little Djibouti. In fact Djibouti is servicing 25 African countries with its Antonov plane nicknamed SKY-PORT that covers its most distant point in Africa from Djibouti in 18hrs while it will take 3 days to move a 40ft container from Apapa to Aba.. Rwanda without a StreamPort nor RiverPort, not to talk of seaport is Africa's best growing economy!

In Europe, the PIIGS (Portugal, Italy, Ireland, Greece and Spain) have a peninsulaic access to the sea, whenever the storm of recession comes, it first sweeps them into the same damn sea, they are Eurozone weakest nations while landlocked countries like Luxembourg, Austria and Germany are waxing strong.. If the SS is not Biafra, there are various international corridors and laws that can sort things out, not forgetting that a greater communication with that region must cross through the South east (Biafra)..
But if the Yoruba republics are declared and the complete anticipated Biafra is pronounced with the SS.. Then the north is simply DEADLOCKED and then mallam, I will advice you to chew less of this gworo now, so you can have what to eat then...

On the population, what laws says all Biafrans must live in Biafra land.. What percentage even lives in the north?? Less than 3%!!!.. Yes..
when you go to some places in the south east, the population looks like there is a festivity going on but you must admit that the Greater Tokyo Metropolitan has a population of 37million people and Monaco has a density of 22500 per sq. km.. I don't see people walking on the heads of others there, rather I see a China, India, Japan, USA, Mexico that has harnessed and muscled the strengths of their population into development.. Even Lagos explosively developed due to population increase, that people had to push back the sea.. 1000 skyscrapers in Biafra land, in no joke will solve the housing problem of Biafra by 95%!.. Take this to the bank!
.
On Biafrans loosing their wealth, I need not go outside Nigeria for an answer.. In 1970, Biafrans got £20 and in 1975, there were millionaires already in Biafra land, the likes of Chisco, Ekene Dili Chukwu, Emeka Offor and even in 1979, Alex Ekwueme single handedly sponsored NPN to presidency that he was rewarded with a VP seat... Now show me one man, east, south, north and west that is wealthy from all the inheritance of the abandoned property??
The north is still underdeveloped, impoverished and incomparably out of tone with the 21st century...

On separations meaning a war.. This defines the sum of the accumulation of the northern cowardice, as if Russia broke up through a war, what about Eritrea? Singapore and Malaysia??.. There are more peaceful resolutions to conflicts than the vampire attitudes of the north but let it be clear to you mallam, eshi à muru dike na mba, ka à muru ibe ya!..
.
The problem of the North is that they are brainlocked, spirituallocked, psycholocked, greedlocked, futurelocked, even landlocked and above all DEADLOCKED by their ancestors who have long lost the keys to UNLOCK them and yet they want everyone to synchronize with their backwardness and then still think its about PDP vs APC.

I have no doubt the East will survive if they seceded
I also know the op cannot provide a source to some of his statements because some of them are just the wishful figment of his malnurished imagination .

The National Party of Nigeria was not solely founded or funded into presidency by Ekwueme .The party was formed in 1978 and it comprises of people from the North and South .

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Party_of_Nigeria

My father was a pioneer memeber of NPN in my state . The main financials of the party were people like Abiola , Saraki , Akinloye , Akinjide , Dantata, Ekwueme and others I can't recall now . Abiola and some northern player were the major people in NPN that time . Abiola's role in NPN made some people to claim he betrayed Awolowo .
Zik formed his own party NPP which the East embraced

Ekwueme was given the Vp slot to heal the wounds of the avoidable civil war amongst the Igbos so that the party can enjoy some followership in the East . And the East never even gave the party the needed support because they have an eastern party in NPP .

The party even made sure Ojukun returned to Nigeria . And unlike the op claimed , The west gave Igbos back all their properties unlike what happened in the South south .
Ojukun even contested for a senatorial seat in the east under NPN and he lost .

These amongst others are some of the fiction I disagree with in the post .
If some of what the op typed is the history you guys are taught in school , you sure need to retake that class

If that much of the story is a fiction, the whole story itself must be dumped to the river as fake. No wonder he gave a disclaimer in ending.

Just thinking of this as a thought exercise, high population density tends to foster economic growth. This is because of network effects and scale economies. This is why urban areas tend to be more dynamic than non-urban areas.

Think about infrastructure for example: it costs less to deliver transport connecting people living in close proximity than people living far apart. This is why accusations that, for instance, Buhari provided more infrastructure spending as PTF boss to the North misses the point: the North's land mass justifies such a skew.

If low population density was good for the economy, living standards in the North of Nigeria would be higher than in the South.

Access to the coast would be helpful to growth for Igbos and so lacking direct access would not help. There are studies which show that distance from the coast has a correlation with economic growth. But I don't think this would be a major factor here as the actual distance from the coast for Igbos is hardly significant.

It's not the economics of Biafra that is worrying. It is the politics which trumps the economics. There is no easy way of delineating boundaries amongst the various ethnic groups in the South who would want to secede once a major ethnic group in the South leaves. There is little logic in staying in a Nigeria once either the Yorubas or the Igbos leave as the rest of Nigeria would be skewed towards Northern dominance. This would be Yugoslavia x 10: bloodier and messier.
On the boundaries in the south, all the ethnic groups know the boundaries.
In rivers state, ndoki/asa have their boundary with ikwerre at timber bus stop. The three clans (egbema, ndoni, eleme) in ONELGA know their boundaries. The same applies to etche and ikwerre.
In delta state, the igbo clans know their boundaries with Bini and urohbo/isoko.
The same applies to igbo in benue state.

The LGAs show the ethnic boundaries in the SS.

It is easy to determine where one Igbo clan begin and ends.

As in ha kwu chim n'ala...
In Asia, Qatar, Abu Dhabi, Dubai are not only landlocked but desert locked and how has that affected them?.. Who sea epp??

Don't ask me for source
grin
Well done my intelligent sister, you have showed that you are true Ada Igbo, nwa oma. You nailed it.

Permit me to make some contribution...‎

Landlock will never be the problem of Biafra if Biafra comes peacefully at God's appointed time. They are using those tactics to threaten Igbos or make Igbos feel they are better in Nigeria than having Biafra. Reason they succeeded in dividing Biafra into Igbo (Southeast) and Niger Delta. To the extent they have made so-called Niger Dellta to hate us for no justifiable reason. And of course Niger Delta can have their own country if they choose to or form an independent region with Biafra just as we have in USA, UK.

Small land mass will never be the problem for Biafra if Biafra comes peacefully.

Crude oil will never be the problem because after Biafra becomes a country, there will be a shocking discovery of mass crude oil deposits in Igbo states that will shock not only Nigerians, but the world, and you know why Because the world will then get to know the secret economy sabotage against Igbos by northern-Yoruba led Nigerian leadership since 1969. There is a large crude oil deposit in core Igbo states that are not yet explored....go to Nekede in Imo State, go to Ihiagwa where u have FUTO, Ohaji Egbema, and another small community in Mbaise.....and many more.....Northern-Yoruba dominated leadership of Nigeria intentionally stopped the exploration of crude oil in core south-eastern states to spite Igbos and to sabotage Igbo region economy.

So when Biafra comes, there will be shocking discoveries of mass deposits of crude oil in Igbo lands....even though Biafra will never depend or rely on crude oil that will soon loose it's economy value worldwide.‎

The only challenge Biafra will have is leadership and Igbo leadership intellectual groups pioneered by young Igbos home and abroad need to be formed‎ ahead to start the discussion of Biafra leadership after freedom from Nigeria.

The discussions should be:

1. The type of leadership to be run
2. Who are to be the leaders; who will lead Biafra out of Nigeria should UN grant Biafra freedom, this is very important to avoid another civil war resulting from power tuzzle between interest groups in Biafra.

Nnamdi Kanu in my own suggestion should not be the first leader....a neutral leader should be appointed....and leadership position in Biafra should be made less lucrative so whoever wants to be a governor, senator, president, prime minister, minister, chairman, etc will know that he or she is not going to make any money but to serve and be remembered in future.

State of origin must be scrapped in Biafra! Nothing like I am from Ebonyi, Imo, Anambra, Enugu, Abia, etc....

Igbos must start now to form intellectual leadership groups to discuss the leadership of Biafra after freedom from Nigeria to avoid Biafra failure.

Igbos have all it takes to make Biafra the China of Asia, the USA of America, the Germany of Europe....if only we get the leadership right and not end up tuzzling for power after Biafra gets her freedom.

Your post just confirmed your level of ignorance and how intellectually decapitated you are…… how old are you, have you ever heard of google… .dont think so. Before you embarrass Biafrans further let me help your pathetic self.

On your browser type www.google.com
In the box, type jews begging for food/alms, click go or search
From the search result dont bother to read it cos you have already shown that you cant comprehend words.
Click "images" cos that is the ONLY way your dull a$$$ can be educated…… and wholla, you now know how to use google.
Take your time and go through the images… ..some are old but most are current, if you want more info on any image click on it.

There is no race, tribe, ethnic or Nation that does have poor people begging for foods…… ooopps, I forgot Biafra does not grin grin grin
If you still come back after following the above instructions asking same question your parents need to ask for a refund of your school fees, if any was paid
… .or fellow Biafrans should pm you to stop embarrasing them in public grin grin

Lagos with 3000+ km landmass has up to 20million people living in it, that means that for example Enugu with up to 7000+km land mass can contain up to 40million people.
Enugu alone can swallow all Igbos.
The Overpopulation thrash is dead on arrival.

you guys should just go we are already tired of you people go home and start your biafra economics

Interestingly, the State with the best infrastructure in the world is low tax, laissez faire but densely populated Hong Kong.followed by Germany
