Tunde had decided to go for a coffee at the local Starbucks for a cup of coffee and some solemn contemplation. There were a lot of things going through his mind. His hotel room was becoming stifling and prison like, he needed some fresh air.

He was still in London as the Doctor wanted to perform some more tests and decide what drugs he would need to take going forward.

He was still in shock regarding the diagnosis. How had he not known he was that ill?

Had he been blinded to the signs?

He had tried calling Enitan earlier, he thought about the call he had made to her earlier, as he put his coffee and cake on the table.

When a ringtone signifying a Whatsapp message came through.

The notification appeared on his phone, he hoped against hope that it was Linda. Even though he had called Enitan, he still wanted to speak to Linda, he really missed her.

But he wanted Enitan as well, he was confused.

Linda was like an addiction he could not let go of, just the mention of her name felt like a balm to his soul. He tried to rationalise it, but he could not.
The notification was from Linda, it was a Whatsapp video with the title ‘Missing you and see you soon.’

He clicked play, thinking it would be a video of her at home or somewhere.

Where was she self?

Why was he still thinking about Linda was a fleeting thought, as some sanity came back into his head.

He waited for the video to load he took a sip of his coffee. What he saw playing shocked him to the core, he saw Linda being pummelled by a huge dog from the back and another from below and a man’s d1ck in her mouth.

He choked and spat out his coffee eliciting strange looks from people on the other tables, as his heart started beating wildly.

His heart literally skipped a beat as he saw Linda moaning in ecstasy and shaking from more than three screaming orgasms in a row in the video.

She had never been like that with him.

Something told him this was not doctored this was real.

WTF!! OMG!

Who the fvcking hell had he been consorting with?

No he rubbed his eyes and looked again, the video did not change.

Instead he saw Linda screaming again in ecstasy.

FFS actually screaming like some b!tch in heat. No it could not be her.

His heart continued to beat erratically.

His heart could not cope with what he was seeing, was this how he had contracted his STD?

How could he have not known?

Enitan, Enitan where are you? The thoughts ran through his head.

His body could not cope with shock; he had a heart attack and collapsed in the middle of Starbucks.

He did not even get to the part where she did it all over again with the other one.

The man sitting on the table next to him rushed over and told someone to call an ambulance. Meanwhile, he picked up his phone to call Tunde’s emergency contacts.

Tunde’s emergency contact number was set to someone called ‘Wifey Linda.’

He called the emergency contact that went to voicemail.

He looked at the last number called and it had ‘cook’ assigned to it.

He dialled the number.

‘Hi, I think you are this guy’s cook, I tried calling his wife Linda but she did not pick up.’

‘Just to let you know your boss has had a heart attack,’ he rushed on. ‘We are waiting for an ambulance. Can you call his wife please?’ the Good Samaritan continued.

There was silence at the other end of the phone, as Enitan digested what she had just been told.

Cook!!! Who?

‘Erm, where did you get cook from?’ Enitan asked.

‘It was the name on the man’s phona ma’am. Please can you contact his wife Linda? It looks serious.’

Enitan ended the call.

Linda’s frenemy Ruth was out shopping for a new handbag when she got a Whatsapp message from Linda.

Linda normally only sent messages to her when she had something to show off and would just drop it in random conversation.

Ruth clicked on the notification, it was a video titled ‘My boyfriend’s house on Banana Island.’

This girl likes to gloat Ruth thought to herself as she opened the message.

Ruth clicked play, she got the same clip as Tunde but with the addition of where the three men pooed and p!ssed on Linda.

‘OMG,’ Ruth screamed. People walking past her thought she had received bad news.

So this is how Linda made her money, Ruth thought.

Some people have no dignity she sighed. How could anyone do something like that for money? Thank goodness they were not close, she thought.

This was going to be the talk of the town this weekend she thought between the big men and the run girls.
The clubs were going to be busy, they were going to make a killing this weekend, with the gossipers.

She swiftly passed it on, mocking Linda in the process.

With the title ‘What some people would do anything for money, sha.’

Linda’s Whatsapp group got a message called ‘Living the life on Banana Island.’

Before hitting play they all sighed with relief; more so Ngozi as she had been worried about Linda’s sporadic communication.

Even though they had been talking over the phone, it was unlike Linda not to be on some sort of social media.

Ngozi threw up the breakfast she had just eaten; she could not believe what she was seeing.

Was this the Linda she knew? Something told her this was real, it was not doctored. Ngozi was alarmed with what she saw, so she asked the girls in her group to delete the video.

It also made her think of the two girls who were missing; they had been Linda’s close friends. Were they involved in such activities too?

She wanted to leave Abuja and fly down immediately to Lagos to find her friend and talk some sense into her.

Her parents and her fiancée forbade her to be seen with such a girl, she decided her family and boyfriend were more important than Linda and did not go.

After putting the phone down, from the person who had called her Tunde’s cook.

Enitan also got a WhatsApp message titled ‘This is what your husband Tunde likes.’

She saw the same clip that had been sent to Tunde.
Bile rose up in Enitan’s throat as she watched the clip, NO!! please this can’t be she thought to herself.

Tunde?

WTF is this she thought, was this what Tunde was into now?

Was that him in her mouth?

Wasn’t it bad enough she had done one video before, did Linda really need to send her this one.

Tunde you are finished to me, she screamed to the video.

She broke down in tears and decided to make sure her children never saw it.

'I really hope she did not send this to the kids,' Enitan whispered to herself.

No wonder Tunde had a heart attack, let him suffer she thought and deleted the video off her phone.

He can rot in hospital she thought as she went to wash her face.

As with all these things it wasn’t long before rumours of the existence of the aforementioned video reached Nairaland. It knocked out all threads of Evans the notorious kidnapper off the front page for a long time, as curious people wanted to see what a runs girl would do, could do and did do for money.

Everyone had an opinion on what they had seen.

The Vaseline crew had a field day, with all kinds of jokes.

Other crews said the world was coming to an end for such stuff to be happening, the traffic on nairaland hit its peak, sending the servers into overdrive.

Adesina12 provided the popcorn for all the threads.

Jugu88li dispersed wise pearls of wisdom on the dangers of being a high class runs girl.

Samyfreshsmooth tried to make everyone calm down and get everyone back to the news about Evans.

An astute nairalander capitalised on the hysteria and set up a pay per view site of the aforementioned video for 30 days and made a killing.

This was more real to them than the lady they had read about who had died after doing it with a monkey for $1,000.

No one went looking for Linda, none of her friends or nor her enemies.

The phrase doing a Linda became a phrase everyone started using.

Linda did not know how long she had been in her room recovering from her ordeal with ‘them’ and her old Dubai friends. The shock of seeing Sola had changed her whole mind-set.

She was scared, she was very scared, she now realised that she was dealing with forces greater than herself.

She had not been able to sleep, the smell of smoke and the images of Sola and the baby were giving her nightmares. She had killed her in a fit of rage, she had forgotten about her until she had turned up unannounced.

This was some serious spiritual warfare and she had managed to put herself right bang in the middle of it with her actions.

But whose war was it? Who was waging a war against her?

She did not want to open her mind to the possibility of karma, she tried to block it out.

If only she hadn’t let her greed make her fall easily into Charles’s clutches.

All those thoughts were disturbed when the door opened at the other end of the room. That was odd, it was normally the shutters on the wall that went up, she thought to herself.

Charles walked in carrying a bowl of the dry food he always gave her. He looked very sombre; he was wearing black, everything from his shirt to his shoes.

He looked like he was as if he was going to a funeral.

He stood by the door.

‘Time to get up Linda, follow me,’ he said, as he beckoned her to follow him out of her room.

‘You can’t stay here any more Linda, you need to start staying in your own quarters.’

Linda gave him a questioning look as she shuffled towards where he was standing.

‘I am only helping to fulfil your babalawo’s prophesy.’ He said.

‘Your own quarters.’ He mimicked the way the man had told her.

‘Were you thinking of taking over the whole house?’ He raised an eye brow at her.

‘Well your quarters await Linda, you will be staying in the room, for the rest of your time here.’

‘Now hurry up, I haven’t got all day,’ he said, as he grabbed her arm.

‘Please Charles, please don’t make me go in there. Please I can’t,’ Linda begged. As she pulled away from him, the chain on her legs impeding her from running away.

‘Why are you doing this to me?’

‘Who are you and what gave you the right to do this to me?’ she screamed at him.

Linda had now come to hate Hennessey and Coke with a passion. She did not want to go near them or be with them ever again.
Had she really done this? The man should have refused, he should not have done it.

Charles just stared at her, ignoring her questions.

Charles said, ‘so you know Linda, Hennessey and Coke were studs before I bought them.’

Linda had a blank look on her face, studs?

She only knew earring studs.

‘Do you know what that means Linda?’ Charles asked.

‘They spent their days fvcking other dogs to propagate their progeny.’

‘You see they are descended from two of the most expensive dogs in the world, every dog breeder in the world wants and wanted them to mate with their b!tches.’

‘That’s girl dog in case you were unaware of that fact too.’ He laughed.

‘Their previous owner charged $50,000 a go for a you know what,’ he said as he winked at her.

‘They even had a no refunds policy; if they did not take to their mate or a pregnancy did not happen.’

‘I could sell them for more than $500000 apiece.’ He paused and stared at her.

‘However, it seems they have now found a craving for you. I wonder why.’

‘Ah yes, you mixed your own body fluids into the stuff that guy made for you, yes let me recall your exact words were once he got into your honey pot he would never want to leave it.’

Linda stared at him in horror, who in the name of hell was this guy?

‘Now that my dear, is the right thought to have.’ He continued.

‘Is this what you have done to the other men you nabbed?’

‘It must be because Tunde still thinks the sun shines out of your ass, poor man.’

‘As you people will say Na Wa O.’ shaking his head.

‘Anyway enough of the chit chat Linda, off you go, your time with them is limited, you have limited time left…’

Linda looked up at in shock, was he going to kill her?

‘You don’t have much time left, no I did not put poison in your food. Not like you did to that person.

‘How many people Linda?’ Charles asked.

Linda did not want to think about that, NO! She did not want any more nocturnal visitors. There wouldn’t be room if they all turned up at the same time.

‘Actually I came to say goodbye,’ Charles said.

Linda looked at him in shock, goodbye?

‘I won’t see you again Linda. I hope you have learnt your lesson.’

Would she be free to go? Please God let that be the case, please she prayed fervently.

A deep laugh coming from Charles cut that short, ‘He, isn’t coming to help you Linda.’

‘I would advise you to not show your hatred to your two lovers in there, after all you’re the one who put her juices into the potion. So you will have to accept their amorous advances.’

‘If you reject them they will tear you apart, and I won’t be here to get you out.’

It finally dawned on Linda that she was in grave danger. Her eyes pricked as the tears fell down her cheeks.

‘Who are you?’ Linda asked again.

Sobbing, she asked ‘why are you doing this to me?’

‘What do you think Linda?’

‘As Conan Doyle said, once you eliminate the impossible, whatever remains no matter how improbable must be the truth.’

‘Who do you think I am? Sola spelt it out for you the other night.’

He pushed her into the room with the bowl of dry food.

‘Enjoy eating together,’ as he slammed the door shut.
