If the speed reduces from 4G or 3G to 2G after a specific data cap has been used up, it should be a data pack, not an unlimited bundle.

i know they are not perfect but I have used over 100g with their N3750 weekly unlimited smartphone plan. The only problem is that their sim card has stopped working on spectranet unlocked modern

I don't know nothing about Airtel and how their internet bundles work. My apologies.

I use Smile and they have two "unlimited" data plans. One goes for 10k the other goes for 20K. Like I said, they are both unlimited but the speed throttles after reaching a peak of 30GB for the 10K plan and 70GB for the 20K plan.

I still average 1.5GB per day even after the speed throttles.

Like I said, I don't know nothing about how Airtel own works. Naturally thought the same, but my mad

Unfortunately you missed how these things work. They can have different unlimited price plans quite alright all based on the burst speed of each of the plans. I want to assume they have maybe 5mbps, 10mbps and 15mbps burst speed for each of the price plans but all on unlimited download. Also each might have a different fair usage policy peg say 3GB/day, 5GB/day and 10GB/day respectively.

I think the plans are all unlimited. It may have been structured like Smile unlimited. Smile has 2 unlimited plans I know of; N18,000 with speed of up to 5MBps and fair usage limit of 70GB and that of N10,000 with speed capped at 2MBps and fair usage limit of 30GB. After you exceed your usage limit, the speed is drastically reduced to 516KBps which is crazily slow until the 30day tenure elapses.
