There are some confusion as far as if Form M number is required or not for shipping to Nigeria . I have seen some article saying you should have the Form M number and some others are saying you dont need that ,
The main questions is why if we dont have it and problem comes during the clearence:

After reading all the comments here, I decided to give Adelove shipping a try on February 21, 2018. Everything was going smoothly initially. I was shipping my three boxes from Ohio, and was told the Fedex shipping was free from Ohio to Texas. I got the shipping labels for the 3 boxes sent to me by a guy named Dee, who seemed to know what he was doing and was very professional. When I needed to pay for the 3 boxes, I had Mr Tolu send me the cost of the 3 boxes, which I paid for, in Naira on February 21, 2018.

Unfortunately, one of the 3 boxes was damaged by Fedex in transit from Ohio to Texas, which I sorted out with them (Fedex) and got reimbursed. A couple of weeks later, a woman called Oreoluwa who works Adelove shipping told me my boxes had arrived and I should give her my final destination info, which I did.

Several weeks later, thinking that my packages were in Nigeria, I sent her a Whatsapp message to find out what was next, and when I would get the refund for my 3rd box that didn't make it to Texas, even though I paid for its shipping to Nigeria. It was then she started coming up with different means of charging me additional fees.

First, she said because my packages weighed less than 50 LB, they would charge me the Fedex shipping cost which was supposed to be free. I told her the two boxes weighed 77 LB. She still went ahead and charged me for the shipping, saying each package weighed less than 50 LB. She refused to listen. Because they already had my payment, she felt she could simply deduct the Fedex shipping cost. She also decided to use that day's exchange rate to convert the money I had already paid because she saw the rates for that day was higher than the one used the previous month when I made my payment.

She then told me my shipping to Port Harcourt would cost me another $80, which I was not told initially. Though I wasn't surprised by it, I wish I was told beforehand. After all her additional charges, I was left with N11,970 to be refunded. Each time I asked for my refund, Oreoluwa would tell me I would get it but she wasn't an accountant. I guess she wanted to tell me she wasn't the accountant. I took her for her words and patiently waited for my package to get to Port Harcourt. The packages finally got to Port Harcourt in April, but were not released to my nephew until April 24.

I sent Tolu and Dee a WhatsApp message expressing how frustrated I was. They got in touch with Oreoluwa and eventually, refunded my N11,970 on April 26th, 2018.

My experience with Adelove shipping was awful and frustrating, to say the least. I will never use them again because of Oreoluwa who didn't seem to have a clue of how business is done. I felt she was very greedy. She was all about money but failed to understand the need to respect her customer. Both Tolu and Dee were great to work with, but Oreoluwa seems to be their boss and therefore dictates for them.

I hate to do this, but I have no option than to advise prospective clients. that this people are very very unreliable, illegal charges, bad customer service and loads of lies. 5months counting, I have not seen my shipment, will be back to tell my story

My goods both in Atlanta Georgia and Dallas Texas were dropped at their stations and shipped to me. 3 days after, My goods were brought to my house, they have company cargo vans in Lagos for delivery. Good Service. Reliable Company to work with.

After reading some good comments here, i decided to buzz their Lagos representative but i must tell you guys their service is poor. Response time is Zero.

I requested for an enquiry in shipping household goods, i was asked to provide details via SMS which i did and for over 3 days, i didn't hear from them. I called to remind them, the lady that picked promised to get back but nothing happened. I also filled their online inquiry page, it's over 4 days now, i've not gotten any response.

I'm only sharing my experience and i make bold to say i am a dissatisfied prospective customer. The red flags are too many for me
