Kontagious:

I am retracting part of the quoted post. N10,000 is indeed to be paid for verification!

My status unbelievably changed back to waiting for verification, I waited for about three days to see the wonders happening if it was some sort of glitch or whatever. About the 4th day, I sent a mail to WES to please clarify if LASU had responded as my status had earlier changed from waiting for verification to documents received and now back to waiting for verification. 2 days later WES replied saying they are awaiting verification and the evaluation will be completed as soon as they get a favorable response from LASU.

I gave another week to see if LASU would respond. After watching status remain same for the whole week, it became apparent a visit to Lasu is necessary so I went today. Lasu in her wise thinking sent WES a pay advice that I have to pay 10,000 before they respond. (a payment to be made by me was communicated to WES!).

What needs to be done for LASU applicants; as soon as you get a status change to awaiting verification, proceed to pay N10,000 at Sterling Bank in school - account name and number to pay to is in the banking hall tapped to the writing platform, go convert the bank teller to official receipt at Block 2 Room 11 (note, you'd be asked to write your name and purpose of payment at the back of the bank teller), then take the official receipt to Exams and Record (ICT building), there the receipt will be stapled to your documents sent from WES and verification response subsequently processed.

Thanks and noted.

Sire,

Hard to say really. I can't categorically tell you one is better...I don't wana say one thing and then my... lipsrsealed

On a more serious note, none is easier or more difficult to do. If you are however referring to the processing times, the timelines of people i have seen on other fora shows it appears faster if you add her just after PPR. Adding her before PPR and after AOR seems to delay the process more than adding her just after PPR (the ones I have seen added within max of two weeks after getting PPR). But then again, several factors can cause variances in processing times from case to case depending BG checks carried out on your spouse. Please note I am not saying this authoritatively but based on my observations of timelines of people in similar situations.

Cheers

So worse case scenario for her getting it before/after PR is how many months?

Hi guys,

I have a question.

My husband is the principal applicant, he is in Nigeria. I am a student in Canada. Do I need a reference letter from the company I worked with back in Nigeria?

Your response will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, the gcms notes were generated on the 26th of June. Yes London Office requested for the height and eye color details.

. Congrats! You will receive your PPR any moment from now, according to your notes. Would love to know when your GCMS notes were generated and if LVO requested for (your) height and eye color details before you sent it. Once again, congratulations, especially those that had their PPR's, our hopes and aspirations will not be cut-short in Jesus name.

Thanks a lot!!! I guess it's better to submit softcopy from studio than to scan the hardcopy and send. What do you think?

Absolutely correct. That's what I did...On my desktop, I saved the soft copy the studio sent me and uploaded that into my eApr.

All the best

I uploaded just the certificate. Reasons are (1) the cover letter was addressed to me and not CIC...so it's my property, lol (2) the certificate alone is a complete document as it says page 1/1....meaning nothing missing.

This is what I did...it's just a suggestion. I dint think there's any harm in submitting both pages though, so you can opt for that to rest your mind.

Sad to post this time line
Ita- 3/3/17 march 3rd
AOR 16/6/17 Acknowledgement of receipt
UCI num assigned on or b4 11/7/17
Adr-11/7/17
Adr sent 12/7/17
Cancelled 17/7/17

It is heartbreaking
I thought that we only needed police clearance for aplace we spend 6months straight in. I did uk police report and nigeria. I attached the pic, i hope this helps someone. I am a little bit confused but it is well.
Apparently i need USA police clearance - how do i go about this cos i dont want to be discouraged, i want to go back in the pool asap.
Can i still use all these same documents. My crs was 451.

So sorry about this. Must be really painful. I pray all will work out fine in the end.

Please I would like to ask a question in this regard, if you don't mind, bacause I also forgot to include an FBI PCC when I applied but I raised a CSE 2 days after AOR to notify them I had applied for the FBI PCC. I still can't tell if my application will be rejected or not.

So I would like to find out why they requested for ADR and what documents you sent? Thanks.

Hi - you upload an electronic copy (front only) when you are submitting your eApr (this is post ITA). Ensure this is to specification.

When you get the PPR letter and you are ready to submit your passport, you are required to send in two hard copies of your passport photograph. At the back of one of the photographs, you are required to provide the details of the photography studio (and yours) + date....stamped or handwritten behind the passport photograph.

I hope this clarifies things...

@ bolded Brother Ehrnie my passport photograph was snapped since 5 months ago, is that the date I will write abi I will claim an earlier date

If you are using your MBA for EE, you cannot count period of education as part of work experience.

I haven't even submitted yet.
A part time program isn't a problem when working, job experience is full time.

A full-time program shouldn't be either but it might raise eyebrows and I don't know if it really affects the calculation of work hours. From my research though, I doubt it.

Not absolutely certain of anything until I get my COPR sha o.

Modified
I just saw your quoted post. IMO Bidosko's case is different. He went on study leave during the period. That year wouldn't count as experience.

Gurus fit chook mouth. Not absolutely certain.

Hi guys,

I am filling my PR application and in my personal history, I noticed I made an error in the dates I filled in my Schedule A form when I applied for sinp, Does your nominated province share all forms submitted at the time of the PNP application with CIC

I am actually worried about this as I do not want it affecting my application on ground of misrepresentation.

Your advice will be highly appreciated
